The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins ( Jogos Vorazes)

Quite a while since I wrote last time, mas eu precisava vir aqui no meu cantinho para comentar algo que havia um certo tempo que não acontecia. Acho q desde q li Melancia ano passado, não ficava tão curiosa com uma história qto Hunger Games.

Arrisco-me a dizer q a última história q senti tanta curiosidade por saber o q ia acontecer seria Harry Potter, mas acho q Hunger Games teve outro gosto. As temáticas são completamente diferentes, mas eu me apeguei ao personagem Peeta Mellack assim como me apeguei ao Harry e ao Sirius.

Bem, eu ouvia falar desse livro faz um certo tempo, mas não a ponto de pegá-lo pra ler. Daí do meio pro fim do ano passado Giovana e Tom começaram a lê-lo e ficaram falando mil coisas a respeito. Q ficaram vidrados, q nao conseguiam parar de ler etc etc. Isso despertou mais minha curiosidade já q os dois tem idade aproximada da minha né, acima de 26, e enfim, se eles curtiram seria possível q eu tbém curtisse.

Dps disso saiu o filme do livro agora esse ano e deu mais vontade de ler ainda pq fiquei curiosa pra ver o filme. Masss, como eu tenho essa mania de tentar ler antes de ver pra poder comparar o q o povo tirou da história, eu decidi correr atrás e ler primeiro.

Com medo q fosse ruim e eu gastasse dinheiro a tôa, eu baixei os 3 em pdf aqui no meu computador e comecei a ler enqto o Beto jogava o video game dele.

Conclusão da história: Li os 3 em menos de 2 semanas. Devorei. A história é supreendente, mto dura e real, contém mtas críticas implícitas em tudo q acontece, e o final conseguiu ser feliz mas não feliz ao mesmo tempo. Como toda boa história, há um romance, mas este não é o centro da história, apenas um pano de fundo para o tema principal do livro. As cenas românticas são escassas eu diria. Compararia o livro com Fringe. Pq em Fringe temos um romance entre Peter e Olívia, mas enfim, isso não é o foco da série.

Fazia tempo…

Suzanne Collins entrou pra minha lista de queridinhos escritores, e hj eu comprei o box dos livros de Hunger pela bagatela de 69,90. Achei o investimento mto mto válido.

Faz dois dias q terminei de ler e a quote abaixo não sai da minha cabeça:

“You love me. Real or not real?”
I tell him, “Real.”

Quite some time since I wrote last time, but I needed to come here to make some comments on something that did not happened quite a while. I think that since I read Watermelon – Marian Keyes last year, I wasn’t so curious about a story as much as I was with Hunger Games.

I dare saying that the last story I felt so curious to know what was gonna happen was Harry Potter, but I guess Hunger Games had a different taste. The themes are completely different, but I got attached to Peeta Mellack the same way I did with Harry and Sirius.

Well, I’ve heard about this books a while ago, but not to the point to pick them to read. Then, in the middle of last year Giovanna and Tom Fetcher started to read them and they kept talking about them on and on. That they were really addicted to the reading etc etc. And that was the trigger that made me curious since they both have similar ages to mine (over 26) and well, if they enjoyed it there was a big probability I would too.

After that the movie of the first book was out, and that made me want to read it more and more, Buttt, as I have this thing about trying to red the books first so I can watch the movies later, I decided to catch up and read the three of them before watching the first movie.

Scared that the book was not so good, I downloaded them 3 books in pdf and started to read it before I actually bought a physical copy while my boyfriend Beto played video game.

Story conclusion: I read the three of them in less and two weeks. I ate them. The story is surprising, really hard and real, it has many critics hidden underneath the happenings, and the end was happy and not happy at the same time, which blew my mind. As all good story, there’s a romance, but this is not the center of the sotry, it’s only a supporting story of the main one. The romantic scenes are rare I would say.I could compare the book with the TV series FRINGE, because FRINGE has a romance between Peter and Olivia, but this is not the series focus.

It has been a while…

Suzanne Collins entered to the list of my beloved authors, and today I bought the box of the books by 69.90, which for me was a good investment.

It’s been two days I ended them and the quote below can’t get out of my head:
