A Herdeira – Kiera Cass (The Heir)

Eu fiquei desconfiada com a proposta de um livro 4 no que antes era a trilogia da Seleção, mas quando descobri que o quarto livro nada mais é do que uma nova seleção protagonizada pela filha do atual rei, a história mudou um pouco de figura.
Neste livro a Kiera propõe, pelo que pude notar, uma nova trilogia (especulação, ainda não li nada de concreto que será uma trilogia) onde Eadlyn (princesa herdeira do trono de Iléa) se verá obrigada a participar de uma Seleção com fins de acalmar os ânimos da população.
Só que Eadlyn não é nada como o pai (que tinha fé em realmente encontrar o amor da vida dele). Ela é uma mulher auto-suficiente que sequer se imaginou casada com alguém até este ponto, e por isso mesmo tem altos planos para burlar todas as regras da Seleção, inclusive a de sair com um “marido” ao final dela.
Agora, será que todos que vieram para a Seleção estão realmente dispostos a conquistar o coração dela?
Será que o rei conseguirá acalmar a parcela revoltada da população com esse reality show?
Bem, até o final deste livro você terá algumas respostas sobre o que Eadlyn realmente precisa, vai ficar apaixonadinha pelo Kyle e pela dupla Henri/Erik e também sofrerá grandes emoções que só serão desenroladas provavelmente no próximo volume desta nova sequencia (pior parte – mto ruim esperar o próximo!). Can’t wait!
O livro para mim preencheu totalmente a expectativa de um nova história com tons novelescos, despretenciosos e ao mesmo tempo emocionantes. Li em dois dias e sem muito esforço. Uma leitura ultra leve para quando você estiver precisando relaxar.

Quando Kyle aparece em cena já dá pra sacar na hora que a nova dupla Eadlyn/Kyle será o America/Maxon desta história, mas…quem se importa? Adorooooo comédias românticas…e esse livro é expert no que ele se propõe.
Ponto ultra positivo pra dupla Henri/Erik. Achei demais a Kiera inserir um cara estrangeiro na seleção, e mais, o tradutor dele também ser um graça. Já no primeiro volume tenho mais simpatia por vários selecionados do que tive nas selecionadas do 1o volume.

Iniciantes podem deitar e rolar com essa história. É bem fácil e o vocabulário é bem simples.

I was suspicious about the proposal of a book 4 on what was a Selection Trilogy before, but when I discovered that the 4th book was a new selection focused on the king’s daughter, the picture changed a bit.
In this book Kiera presents, by what I could notice, a new trilogy (speculation, because I did not read anything concrete about a new trilogy yet) where Eadlyn(heir princess of Iléa) will be obligated to participate of a new Selection with hopes of calming the population fears.
But Eadlyn is not like her father (who had faith of really finding the love of his life). She’s a strong independent woman that even imagined herself marrying someone until this point, and because of that has a lot of plans on how she’s break the Selection rules, including the one that says she needs to end up the Selection with a husband.
Now, Are really all the guys that came to the Selection willing to make her fall in love for them?
Will the king calm down the population with this new reality show?
Well, until the end of this book you’ll have some responses about what Eadlyn really needs, and you’ll fall in love for Kyle and for the two Henri/Erik, and you’ll suffer big emotions that will only be developed probably on the next volume of this new sequence (which is the worst part – so terrible waiting for the next one) Can’t wait!
This book for me filled completely my expectations about a new soap-opera story, unpretentious and at the same time full of emotion. I read is in a couple of days and without any efforts. It’s a light reading and you should you it to relax.

When Kyle appears in the story you can catch the plot of the new couple Eadlyn/Kyle as we did with America/Maxon, but…who cares? I love romantic comedies and this book is expert on what it proposes to you.
Positive point for the duo Henri/Erik. I thought too cool from Kiera to insert a guy that is foreign in the selection, and more, his translator is so cute. On this first book of the new sequence I already sympathise with many more selected than I had on the first volume of The Selection.
