O Projeto Rosie – Graeme Simsion (The Rosie Project)

O Projeto Rosie - Graeme Simsion (The Rosie Project)

the rosie project

Dá pra ir acompanhando a escalação do elenco no IMBD: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2894198/

Simply one of the cutest books I’ve read this year. I believe the last cute book I’ve read before this one was from Rainbow Rowell (the custest author ever!)
The “Sheldon” of the story is Don Tillman, who is 39 years old and has no hopes of finding a wife/partner to share his routine and high intelligence thoughts. He also does not have many friends, just a couple, Geene and Claudia – a co-worker professor and his wife shrink.
Tired of staying alone and be ashamed on his failed dates, Don decides to create a questionnaire to all his candidates to fill before they actually have some interation. That way, he would be able to filter the possible women that would never work out and therefore avoiding wasting his time on failed dates.
What Don doesn’t know is that is just one of this women, the one that does not fill any of his requirements on the questionnaire, that will start to be the owner of his mind. Her name, Rose Jarman.
From the moment they met, the project wife will be stepped aside because a new project will begin, and Don will see himself doing things he never imagined he would be capable of.
People, is simply cute! A romantic comedy of the most honest and beautiful I’ve seen!

PS: While I was reading the book I got to know that they selected Jennifer Lawrence to be Rosie on the movie version of the book…and I’m so curious now, I think she will make a good Rose (despite the fact I can’t imagine a ginger her). Now, who is going to be Don? It has to be an older actor, face of 40s, who is he gonna be? Curious to know if he guy will be like I imagined Don.
We can follow the people being selected to the roles on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2894198/

LOVED the sotry and I believe you could see that by my comments above, and I loved even more because of the final plot. Don and Rosie stay they whole story trying to find who was her biological father just to end up where they started. I thought the end very good to a story so light and unpretentious of a love between two different people.
The funniest is to follow the crazy thoughts of Don until he gets to the conclusion that yes, he’s in love with someone, and that yes, he loves Rosie – someone that has absolutely nothing in common with him but at the same time complements him on so many levels.
