Para Todos Os Garotos Que Já Amei – Jenny Han (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before)

Para Todos Os Garotos Que Já Amei - Jenny Han (To All The Boys I've Loved Before)

To all the boys I've loved before

A história é demais! Eu adorei!

I was thinking I would finish this year without any more big surprises in reading, only nooooo!
I picked up this book to read as Ari and Marina spoke extremely good about it at the time of Black Friday. I could not buy the physical copy on the day as it was sold out in all the sites I tried, when I saw it for 7.50 reais for kindle and I ended up not resisting.
As it had been a while since I read anything on kindle and I already had returned from vacation I started to read it to be able to read on the bus coming home from work on a Friday, and I finished reading on Saturday afternoon as I could not take my eyes from book. The story is great! I loved it!
Right after I finished reading I saw that Mel had just posted on her blog about it too, and well, I did not see any girl who has read it and had not liked it.
The story is narrated Lara Jean, the middle sister of three girls (Margot the oldest and Kitty the newest). They live with their father, who is a doctor, and after the premature death of their mother (who was Korean) become more united than ever. And Margot ended up assuming the role of big mother of the house.
The confusion that guides history will take place right after the big sister goes to college leaving Lara Jean and Kitty with her father.
Someone put all the letters that Lara Jean wrote to all the boys she already loved in her life, and they start to question her about it.
Lara Jean panics and will have to take drastic measures to fix the effect that a particular letter caused.
The funny part of the story is that no matter how romantic and predictable it may seem, it still manages to surprise you in the end. I thought the text was so light, but at the same time reflective in many parts.
You will fall in love with the characters Yes! and certainly when you get to the end you’ll be like me: Desperate to read the next volume. In my case, till the point I had to buy kindle version with a ridiculously expensive price, in English, just because I would not stand waiting to know what happened to my favourite characters.
The kindle is so good because of that, in despair any book is only by one click of your hands. Pure magic.

Peter, Peter, Peter … I was in love with Peter. The coolest of the whole story is you super start thinking Lara Jean will finish it still in love with Josh, but no no no, you can follow the whole process of how she ends up accidentally falling in love with Peter, and it’s so funny . It makes you think about every time we fall in love by someone.
I confess that at the end of the story I was a little angry with Josh. And this anger has not passed yet while I’m currently reading the second volume of the series. I don’t know, he was very idiotic.
I will speak more of my impressions when I finish the second volume.
