Maze Runner Correr ou Morrer – James Dashner (The Maze Runner)

Sabe aquele livro que você não consegue parar de ler? Mas assim, não parar de ler no sentido de não tem paz se não souber o que vai acontecer? Foi assim com esse primeiro livro da série.

Eu demorei uns 3 dias para terminar, mas foram 3 dias que minha cabeça ficou o dia todo pensando no que raios estaria acontecendo na história.
Tudo começa com Thomas sendo trazido por uma caixa para uma clareira cercada por um imenso Labirinto. Lá ele encontra muitos meninos que assim como ele não se lembram de nada de suas vidas anteriores, a não ser o primeiro nome.
O problema todo é que logo após a chegada de Thomas e de uma menina na clareira, diversos fatos estranhos começam a acontecer, e esses fatos levarão todos os meninos a considerar a fuga para fora do labirinto. O problema maior a ser enfrentado para tal serão os verdugos – umas criaturas horrendas que antes transitavam apenas durante as noites dentro do Labirinto, mas que agora estão por toda parte.
Sério pessoal, não tem como não ler os últimos capítulos com o coração na boca. É muito cheio de suspense. Adorei o estilo do autor. Meninos e meninas, não importa quem ler, com certeza irá gostar.

Quando eles descobrem o buraco dos Verdugos e depois bolam o plano de fuga, eu nunca honestamente pensei que eles fossem realmente conseguir escapar. Fato esse que é provado com o arquivo que é lido no final desde livro. E agora estou em total estado de agonia sabendo que uma vez que pegar o volume 2 não pararei de ler até não terminar.
Tenho várias teorias envolvendo Thomas e Tereza, mas ainda não vou comentar a respeito. Deixa eu ler tudo que daí comento no último livro.

You know that kind of book that you cannot stop reading? But that kind of not stop reading that you have no peace if you do not know what will happen? It was just like that with this first book of the series.
It took me about 3 days to finish but it were three days my head was all day wondering what the hell was going on in the story.
It all starts with Thomas being brought by a box for a Glade surrounded by a huge maze. There he finds many boys that as he cannot remember anything of their previous lives but the first name.
The whole problem is that after the arrival of Thomas and a girl in the meadow, many strange things start to happen, and these facts will lead all children to consider to escape from the maze. The main problem to be faced for this will be the Grievers – hideous creatures that used to transit in the Maze only during the nights, but now they are everywhere.
Seriously people, there’s no way you can read the last chapters without your heart in your mouth. It’s full of thriller. I loved the author’s style. Boys and girls, no matter who read it, you’ll certainly like it A LOT.

When they discover the hole of the executioners and then came up with the escape plan, I never honestly thought they were really able to escape. This fact is proved with the file that is read at the end of the book when they are out of the maze. And now I am in utter agony state knowing that once I start reading volume 2 I will not be able to stop reading until it is finished.
I have several theories involving Thomas and Teresa, but I will not comment yet. Let me read everything first and then I comment everything in the last book post.
