Harry Potter e o Cálice de Fogo – JK Rowling (Harry Potter and The Globet of Fire)

Relendo esse livro entendo e confirmo muitas coisas que sempre achei sobre ele.
A principal delas é que este é definitivamente o livro que menos gosto de reler de todos de Harry mesmo Sirius estando tão presente nele. (Engraçado que vi um vlog não faz nem um mês da Book Hoarder que ela fala que o Cálice é o livro preferido dela- mto engraçado porque é nessas horas que você vê como os gostos são diferentes).
Talvez eu não curta porque adoro muito o Cedric e não curto a morte tão a tôa dele na história e acho total chato esse povo de outras escolas em Hogwarts. No caso eu curto rotina e esse povo só atrapalhou. Nem campeonato de Quadribol das casas teve.
Outra coisa, embora a premissa seja muito legal, eu odeio toda a história da Hermione querendo defender os elfos domésticos e a Rita Skeeter. Chato. Mas nada que me faça amar menos Harry Potter por isso.
Coisas que me chamaram a atenção nesta releitura e que fiquei pensando a respeito foram que em momento algum você consegue desconfiar que existe um filho de Bart Crouch até que Sirius comenta isso com eles quando os 3 se encontram em Hogsmeade. E outra, ainda não dá pra saber pois Sirius acha que o filho dele morreu em Azkaban. O que JK faz a gente super desconfiar no livro é que Bart Crouch pai é que está por trás de tudo, e bem, eu fico com a impressão agora na releitura que JK queria muito que a gente desconfiasse do Ludo Bagman também. Isso tudo ficou muito diferente no filme pelas adaptações. No filme eles colocaram várias mini características no próprio Moody falso para que depois todos vissem que ele era falso, já que Sirius e até o próprio personagem do Barty Crouch pai foram quase que completamente cortados do filme.
Não me conformo que o fato de Dobby estar trabalhando em Hogwarts e participando ativamente da vida de Harry (presentes de Natal/dica para a 2a tarefa) tenha sido ocultado do filme embora entenda que adaptações são realmente necessárias por conta do tempo. Algo importante que se perde aqui na adapatação é que a relação afetiva dele e Harry é fortificada neste 4o livro.
A paixonite de Krum pela Hermione é muito legal, até mesmo para a própria Hermione, que ganha confiança como mulher mesmo. Algo que achei mais fofo relendo agora a história e que não havia dado tanta importância quando era mais nova.
Enfim, posso afirmar após a releitura que Cálice de Fogo é o livro de Harry que eu não dou 5 estrelas, só 4 hehehehehe. É sério isso.

By re-reading this book I understand and confirm many things that I always thought about it.
The main one is that this is definitely the book I like the least to re-read from all of Harry ones, even Sirius being so present in it. (Funny thing I saw a vlog it’s been not even a month from the Book Hoarder and she says that the Globet is her favorite Harry Potter book – funny because in cases like this you see how tastes are different).
Maybe I don’t like it very much because I like Cedric and I don’t like his useless death in the story, furthermore I think that all people from other schools at Hogwarts are so boring. You see, I like routine and that people only made it hard. Not even The House’s Quidditch Cup happened because of them.
Another thing, although the premise is pretty cool, I hate the whole story of Hermione wanting to defend the house elves and Rita Skeeter parts. Boring. But nothing that makes me love less Harry Potter for it.
Things that caught my attention in this new reading and I was thinking about were that at no time you can suspect that there is a son of Bart Crouch until Sirius says it to them when the 3 meet with him in Hogsmeade – At this point Sirius still believes his son died in Azkaban – What JK does on the story is to make people to suspect that Bart Crouch father is behind everything, and well, I get the impression now in this re-reading that JK wanted us to suspect of Ludo Bagman the whole story too. This was all very different in the movies because of the adaptations. In the movies they put several mini details in the fake Moody so that after all everybody could see he was false, since Sirius and Barty Crouch father were almost completely cut from the film.
I also struggle to accept the fact that Dobby was working at Hogwarts and actively participating in Harry’s life on the book (Christmas gifts / tip for the 2nd task), but he was cut from the movies, although I understand that adaptations are actually needed because of time on screen. Something really important that is lost on this adaptation is that the relationship between Dobby and Harry is fortified in this book 4.
The crush that Krum has about Hermione is very cool, even for Hermione herself, who really gains confidence as a woman. This is something I thought the cutest ever now re-reading the story and that in the past I hadn’t given so much importance.
Anyway, I can say after the re-reading of the Goblet of Fire that this is the book I do not give 5 stars, only 4 hehehehehe. I meant it.
