A Mediadora – O Arcanjo Nove – Meg Cabot (The Mediator – Ninth Key)

Nessa história, Suze é abordada pelo espírito de uma mulher desconhecida que a pede para avisar para Red não se sentir culpado pela morte dela. Suze começa então a investigar quem pode ser o tal Red, já que a mulher teima em afirmar que ela o conhece, e ela então descobre que há um ricaço na região chamado Red Beaumont, que por sinal é pai do seu mais novo “rolo” Tad Beaumont.
Quando a investigação avança, Suze acaba descobrindo mais crimes do que pensava (não apenas do espírito que apareceu primeiro para ela) e mais poderes do que imaginava ter como mediadora.
Jesse acaba tendo papel fundamental nesta história também, e enfim, podemos começar a imaginar que ele será parte de alguma coisa muito maior nos próximos livros, assim creio eu pelo menos.
Realmente me surpreendi com essa história. Eu comecei lendo e não dando o absolutamente nada pra ela, e quando vejo, olha adorei o final, adorei a trama! Foi realmente uma surpresa.
O humor meio negro da Susanah Simon é muito divertido, e a Meg consegue realmente fazer parecer uma narrativa sobrenatural sob o ponto de vista duma adolescente.

Eu adorei a trama! A Suze começa a investigar o pai do rolo dela como suspeito pra acabar no final descobrindo que o assassino em potencial é o tio que se fingia de bonzinho. E melhor, o espírito que a abordou primeiro nem era relacionado ao crimes que ela acaba descobrindo. É o espírito da primeira esposa do seu padrasto, mãe dos 3 step brothers dela…e Red, bem, Red é o filho mais novo, o qual Suzanna conhece sim e enfim, é o que mais sabe sobre seu “poder” sobrentural. Super Agatha Christie! Tirando a parte dos fantasmas obviamente.
E Jesse? E laiá, esse fantasma aí não vai embora tão cedo das histórias da mediadora. Há algum segredo super duper grande por trás da morte dele, e enfim, a Suze está se apaixonando por ele, mesmo querendo negar isso constantemente. Isso fica meio evidente desde quando a gente percebe que ela fica arrumando desculpas pra não ajudar ele a ir embora. Nesse ponto devo concordar com meu namorado-que cantou essa bola desde q contei a história do primeiro livro pra ele- masss, isso é Meg Cabot my dear, então não espere nada além de comédia romântica. Se você ler todos os livros com essa expectativa, terá grandes e agradáveis surpresas ao longo das leituras. VALE A PENA!

Fácil é pouco pra eu dizer sobre os livros da Mediadora. Se vc tá querendo se aventurar no mundo da leitura em inglês, pode considerar esses livros.Obviamente, não deixe de seguir os conselhos dados sobre leitura instrumental em inglês. Não fique parado em detalhe que não servirá pra nada na conclusão do pensamento!

In this story, Suze is approached by the spirit of an unknown woman who asks her to warn Red not to feel guilty about her death. Suze then begins to investigate who may be the Red, since the woman insists that she knows him, and she then discovers that there is a rich man in the area called Red Beaumont, who by the way is the father of her newest “date” Tad Beaumont.
As the investigation progresses, Suze discovers more crimes than she imagined (not just from the spirit that first appeared to her) and more powers than she imagined she could have mediating.
Jesse ends up having a key role in this story too, and finally, we can begin to imagine that he will be part of something much bigger on the next books, so I believe at least.
I was really surprised by this story. I started reading by giving absolutely nothing to her, and when I see, look I loved the ending, I loved the plot! It was really a surprise.
Susannah Simon’s half-hearted humor is a lot of fun, and Meg really manages to make it sound like a supernatural story from a teenage girl’s point of view.

I loved the plot! Suze begins to investigate the father of her date as a suspect to end up discovering that the potential killer is the uncle who pretended to be nice. And better,she ends up discovering the spirit that addressed it first was not related to the crimes . It’s the spirit of her stepfather’s first wife, mother of her 3 step brothers … and Red, well, Red is the youngest son Suzanna knows, and in the end, she’s the one who knows the most about her so-called “power”. Super Agatha Christie! Obviously removing the ghosts part.
And Jesse?OMG, this ghost isn’t going to leave the mediator stories so soon. There is some great super duper secret behind his death, and in short, Suze is falling in love with him, even wanting to deny it constantly. It’s kind of obvious from the moment we realize she’s making excuses not to help him leave. (At this point I must agree with my boyfriend-who has sung this ball since I told the story of the first book to him- buttt, that’s Meg Cabot my dear, so do not expect anything more than romantic comedy. If you read all the books with this Expectation, you will have great and pleasant surprises throughout the reading. It’s super worth!
