Talvez um Dia – Colleen Hoover (Maybe Someday)

Mais um livro da “tia Colleen” (tratamento carinhoso que meu clube do livro deu a autora) que não consegui parar de ler enquanto não terminei. Li em questão de um dia praticamente assim como o Lado Feio do Amor.

Por conta disso, o clube do livro chegou à conclusão de que Colleen deve usar cocaína nas páginas da história (palavras de Talita) porque esse tipo de “não consigo parar de ler até o final” não é todo livro que consegue, independente da história que esteja sendo contada.

Se você está procurando um romance daqueles com sofrência na medida, romantismo na medida e devo dizer um final feliz após tudo que foi apresentado, esse livro é ideal. Ela ainda tem o bônus de apresentar muitas músicas e pasmem, todas têm a versão gravada pelo Griffin Peterson (só procurar no youtube). Para mim a melhor é a do nome do livro Maybe Someday. Já adicionei nas minhas mais ouvidas porque é muito fofa.

O livro conta basicamente a história de Sydney e Ridge. Sydney descobre que o namorado e a melhor amiga com que divide o apartamento estão tendo um caso e acaba indo morar na casa de Ridge por conta disso. Ridge compõe músicas para a banda do irmão mas anda passando por um momento de bloqueio, o qual Sydney acaba ajudando a quebrar já que ambos começam a compor juntos. Toda essa proximidade/cumplicidade virá com muitos problemas já que Ridge também tem uma namorada.

Imaginem aí o conflito desse povo! Porque sim, tem muito conflito, principalmente interno, em todas as páginas.  E o mais interessante de tudo é que você mergulha no conflito junto com os personagens, pois como algo errado pode parecer tão certo?

O livro traz uma grande surpresa que eu não vou comentar pra não estragar a surpresa, mas duvido que alguém consiga descobrir antes de Sydney.

Vale muito a pena apesar do final ter sido meu manjado desde o início.

Another book from “Aunt Colleen” (cute treatment my book club gave to the author) that I could not stop reading while I didn’t finish it. I read in a matter of a day almost same time I did Ugly Love.

Because of this, our book club has come to the conclusion that Colleen must use cocaine in the pages of the story (Talita’s words) because that kind of “I can’t stop reading until the end” is not every book that manages to reach, regardless of history that is being counted.

If you are looking for a romance of those with suffering in the measure, romanticism in the measure and I must say a happy ending after all that has been presented, this book is ideal. It still has the bonus of presenting a lot of songs and all of them have the version recorded by Griffin Peterson (just search on YouTube). For me, the best one is the one with the name of the book Maybe Someday. I already added in my favorites because it is very cute.

The book basically tells the story of Sydney and Ridge. Sydney discovers that her boyfriend and her best friend with whom she shares the apartment are having an affair and ends up going to live at Ridge’s house because of that. Ridge composes songs for his brother’s band but he is facing a moment of blockade, which Sydney ends up helping to break since both begin to compose together. All this closeness / complicity will come with many problems since Ridge also has a girlfriend.

Imagine the conflict of this people! Because yes, there is a lot of conflict, mostly internal, on every page. And the most interesting thing of all is that you immerse yourself in the conflict along with the characters, because how can something wrong seem so right?

The book brings a great surprise that I will not tell to not spoil the surprise, but I doubt anyone can find out before Sydney.

It’s worth reading even though the end has been certain from the beginning.

PS.I like the other mates from Ridge’s Republic and I want to read the spin-off of this story with them. (Maybe Not)
