Sweet – Tammara Webber (Sweet)

Eu já havia lido Easy fazia um tempinho, e comprei Sweet justamente por ter gostado muito de Easy. Mas achei a história completamente diferente. Acho que a Tamara tentou ser mais ousada neste, se é que vocês me entendem.

A questão é que mesmo ela tentando ser ousada, achei que Easy ainda é infinitamente melhor que Sweet. Sweet ficou meio arrastado no começo. Você demora para entender o que a história está se propondo a contar. Mas melhora do meio para o final, eu diria que o que salva o livro é o meio dele.

Enfim, não foi aquele livro que mudou a minha vida, mas com certeza me proporcionou um fim de semana inspirado após a leitura hehe.

Recomendaria a leitura? Recomendaria, ainda mais se você curte o combo romance mexicano + cenas muito calientes. Tudo depende do humor né!? Ou seja, fica a dica caso o seu humor esteja propício para esse tipo de leitura.

Eu diria que esse livro foi uma novela mexicana comedida. Não foi um hit, mas teve seus momentos.

Só para constar, a história é sobre um casal de amigos que se gostam desde criança, mas que nunca tiveram coragem de se declarar um para o outro. Pear, de uma família mais favorecida graças ao casamento da mãe com um médico bem-sucedido. Boyce de uma família completamente desestruturada. A mãe abandonou ele e o irmão mais velho quando ele tinha 7 anos para fugir dos maus tratos do pai só para vocês terem uma noção.

 

PS. A capa do livro é péssima. Parece livro barato de banca de jornal. Eu quase não compro o físico por este motivo.

 

I read Easy a while ago, and then I bought Sweet just because I liked Easy a lot. But I think the stories are completely different. I think Tamara tried to be more daring in this one, if you know what I mean.

The point is that even she trying to be daring, I thought Easy is still infinitely better than Sweet. Sweet was kind of creepy at first. It takes you a while to understand what the story is about. But it improves from the middle to the end, and I would say what saves the book is the middle of it.

Anyway, it was not that book that changed my life, but it sure gave me an inspired weekend after reading hehe.

Would you recommend this reading? I would, and I would even more if you enjoy the Mexican romance combo + very hot scenes. It all depends on your mood, right? So, if your mood is good to this kind of reading go ahead.

I would say this book was a moderate Mexican novel. It was not a hit, but it had its moments.

Just for the record, the story is about a couple of friends who have liked each other since childhood but have never had the courage to declare themselves to each other. Pear, from a more favored family thanks to her mother’s marriage to a successful doctor. Boyce from a completely unstructured family. His mother abandoned him and his older brother when he was seven years old to run away from his father’s mistreatments just so you can have a better idea.

 

PS: The book coverage sucks. It seems something cheap from a newsstand. I almost didn’t buy it for this reason.
