Sem Esperança – Colleen Hoover (Losing Hope)

losing hope

Valeu a compra e adorei a leitura.

losing hope 2 series

This book is a complement to the book Hopeless, so if you haven’t read this book you will certainly read some spoiler in the text below.

There is another book related to Hopeless that is not a sequel either, but a spin off called Finding Cinderella – very good indeed!

In this volume, Colleen, under Dean Holder’s point of view, will tell earlier details of Sky’s story, which we know in details in Hopeless.

I found a valid “sequel” since we have a lot of new information about Dean’s character, from the previous relationship he had with Sky, who as a child was still called Hope, and about his relationship with his twin sister Less.

We learned how he happened to live in the same city of Sky, everything that happened after her disappearance and finally, how Dean and his entire family dealt with the event.

Dean’s relationship with his sister to me was the high point of the book, I was very curious about it and in the book Hopeless we don’t have that much comments about it since the focus of the story is Sky and not Holder.

As usual, even the story itself not being new (even though we have a lot of new information from Holder’s side) the end of the book can be surprising. The purchase was worth, and I loved the reading. Approved since entertainment is guaranteed.

PS. The book cover brings an important musician to Colleen and her books, mainly Maybe Someday, where he helped her to compose all the lyrics that are present throughout the book. His name is Griffin Peterson.
