O jogo – Elle Kennedy (The Score)

Já falamos aqui no blog e no canal do youtube dos 2 primeiros livros desta série: O acordo e O erro. E gente, que série! Esse terceiro livro é o suprassumo da série toda. O MELHOR. O que mais me tocou de todas as formas.

A história é a mais louca de todas, pois ambos os personagens curtem ir ao limite das fantasias, mas o que mais me cativou foi o quanto o personagem do Dean deu força para Ellie ser ela mesma, não ter medo de sentir prazer, e se sentir bem  sabe.

Esse terceiro livro traz a história de como Dean e Ellie (amiga e colega de quarto da Hannah do primeiro livro) acabaram juntos. Dean é o loiraço mais rico, mimado e gostosão da faculdade e mora junto com os meninos do time de hóquei Garret, Logan e Tucker. É aquele que todo mundo pega transando em cada cômodo da república, e não tem medo de fazer sempre o que quer. Ellie por outro lado, acabou um relacionamento de 3 anos pois chegou a conclusão que ela e o namorado desejam coisas completamente diferentes para o futuro e que ela teria que se anular nos planos dele.

Morrendo de medo de uma recaída ela vai passar o fds na república dos meninos enquanto Hannah foi viajar com o namorado. E como acabam sobrando apenas ela e Dean os dois ficam vendo filme juntos e bebendo. Um garrafa de tequila depois, Ellie acaba dando o primeiro passo e passa uma noite muito louca com Dean. No outro dia envergonhada ela vai embora e vai tentar fugir e esquecer de tudo que rolou. Já Dean fica obcecado com tudo que aconteceu e com a personalidade que conheceu de Ellie e quer mais. Mas a história chega num impasse pq tudo que Ellie quer é esquecer aquela noite.  Dean começará a correr atrás e Ellie não irá aguentar né, e o caso dois dois terá início.

Como disse no começo do post eu adorei Dean incentivando Ellie a se soltar, não ter medo de sentir prazer. Ellie se sente muito culpada ao longo da história pois é muito ligada aos padrões machistas da nossa sociedade sem nem ao menos se dar conta disso. Dean é definitivamente o cara gostosão mais feminista que conheci em todos os livros desse gênero que já li. Virei fã de carteirinha dele.

Os dois formaram o par mais perfeito dessa série, e com certeza a história desse terceiro livro pra mim foi a mais bem escrita também. Não há enrolação, a história flui perfeitamente, Dean passa por uns perrengues brabos aí do meio pro final! e a gente, claro, fica com nosso coração na mão esperando ele superar tudo.

Meninas, principalmente, a leitura vale a pena mais do que vocês imaginam. Meninos, leiam e aprendam uns bons truques com o Dean.

We have already talked on the blog and the youtube channel about the first 2 books of this series: The deal and The mistake. And folks, what a series! This third book is the climax of the whole series. THE BEST. It’s the one that touched me the most anyway.

The story is the craziest of all, because both characters enjoy going to the limit with their fantasies, but what captivated me most was how much Dean’s character gave Ellie strength to be herself, not to be afraid of pleasure, and to feel good you know.

This third book tells the story of how Dean and Ellie (Hannah’s friend and roommate) ended up together. Dean is the richest, pampered, and hottest blond in college and lives along with the boys of the hockey team Garret, Logan and Tucker. He is the one that everyone sees getting laid in every room of the house during the books of the series, and  he is not afraid to always do what he wants. Ellie on the other hand, ended a relationship of 3 years because she just came to the conclusion that she and her boyfriend want completely different things for the future and that she would have to annul herself in his plans.

Being really afraid to reconsider her decision in a weakness moment, Ellie goes to sleep on the boys house while Hannah went to travel with Garret, Logan and Grace. A She end up being alone with Dean there, and the two watch  a movie and drink together. A bottle of tequila later, Ellie ends up taking the first step and spends a very crazy night with Dean. The next day, embarrassed about all she did, she goes away and will try to forget everything that happened. Meanwhile, Dean is obsessed with everything that happened and with the personality that he discovered about Ellie and wants more. The story comes to a dead-lock  then because all Ellie wants is to forget that night. Dean will start to run after her and Ellie will eventually sucumb to his charm, so the story will begin.

As I said at the beginning of the post I loved Dean encouraging Ellie to let go and not being afraid to feel pleasure. Ellie feels very guilty throughout the story because she is really linked to the sexist patterns of our society without even realizing it. Dean is definitely the most feminist hothead I’ve met in all the books of that genre I’ve ever read. I became a fan of him.

The two made the most perfect pair of this entire series, and surely the story of this third book for me was the best well written too. There is no wrath, the story flows perfectly, Dean goes through some deep shit from the middle to end! and we, of course, keep our hearts in our hands, hoping that he will overcome everything.

Girls, especially, reading is worth more than you imagine. Boys, read and learn good tricks with Dean.
