Nunca Jamais partes 1, 2 e 3

No primeiro volume iremos conhecer Charlie e Silas.

Never Never parts 1, 2 and 3

By putting together the 3 parts of the story we have a book as a whole, and I must say I felt sorry for anyone who read this in real time because to stop at the end of each part and be wondering what the hell was happening must have been very agonizing.

I ended up reading all in English because I bought the three parts for ZERO reais for kindle. And these ebooks are usually on sale at Amazon so you just have to keep an eye on it.

I loved immensely how the story was developed, because it is impossible to stop reading (which we are already used to when it comes to Colleen), and even more impossible not to connect to the characters and hope them to be together. I remembered a lot when I watched the movie The Vow when I read the 2nd and 3rd books.

If you liked other Colleen’s books you are likely to enjoy this one. The only thing – especially for those who read them with real time interval – was the frustation feelings caused by the relatively simple outcome of the story. It was definitely not good  to kept thinking a thousand miraculous solutions for the great mystery, and in the end to have the simplest one.

In the first volume we will meet Charlie and Silas. Both realize at a certain time in the morning that they have forgotten who they are. They don’t remember anyone related to their lives, no family members, no friends, not even that they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

When both discover that neither of them remember anything they start working together to try to rescue their memories and understand what happened.

But the problem is even bigger than they expected (and here’s a SPOILER warning in case you want to start reading the series – stop reading now!) Because at the end of this first volume we discover together with the protagonists that they were forgetting everything for a while. That every two days their memory is rebuilt and they do not remember anything or what happened in the previous two days.

In the second volume we will see that Silas discovered that he and Charlie were writing down what was happening to them to try to recap every time they forgot things. But since Charlie is missing, he is obliged to ask his brother to help him finding her, since 1 – he needs her to continue the investigation, 2 – he likes and really cares about her. Her disappearance makes Silas realize how much he loves her even though he does not remember her.

In the third volume after Charlie is rescued the couple has the help of Silas’s brother and Charlie’s sister to solve the mystery of the memory loss, which may be more related to Charlie’s father than they realize.

And that’s it folks, I do recommend this reading because you read in the blink of an eye due to the attachment level with the story. Believe, it’s worth the experience, even with the end not being so great.
