Talvez sim.
I currently have 8 tattoos, and 4 of them are from Harry Potter. So, you can see that I like Harry a lot.
The first tattoo I did was HARRY POTTER’S SCAR behind my right ear, and it took me a while to figure out this one, since I wanted something that represented the character Harry, because in the end he is my favorite character. Much of the fact I love these books is related to everything that Harry lived and felt, so despite I had a lot of options in my mind, such as the golden snitch, I ended up opting for the scar because it’s something in Harry, anyway, I thought it would define the symbology I wanted.
I did this first when I was 25 and during half of my aupair year in the USA. It was made in a studio in Georgetown, which I can not remember the name of.
The second tattoo is the DEATHLY HALLOWS SYMBOL, which I did on my left arm. This, as well as the third one I have in the back of my left shoulder, the “ALL WAS WELL” mean the closure of the story and the symbology so beautiful that JK created with all this story of the hallows, and also of this cycle of my life, a time I consider to have been one of the best parts of my life, but when it was over, it was OK, I knew that life would continue and that it was made up of phases and challenges.
For last I have the phrase of the marauder’s map “I SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I’M UP TO NO GOOD” above my hip on the back (the famous tramp stamp), first because I love the Marauders – super wanted a spin- off because they are too cool – and second because we have another way to understand that sentence (double meaning). Understanders will understand.
And it’s basically that, people. Do I want to make more Harry tattoos? Maybe yes. I have others in mind related to other nerdy stuff, but there is so much of the wizarding world that I would include as well. I think my body is small to have everything, especially because I like to make them in hidden places.
