Lucille, better known as Lucy, is that kind of woman who has a hippie look, a Zen way of  life, and doesn’t care much about life as it is, she just lives in the moment.

Graham is a very bitter and closed writer who, when abandoned by his wife with a premature child he didn’t even want, will have his life crossed with Lucy’s.

The shock of these two so different realities will give us a very cute love story, but for me it was not 100% cool because once again the author sinned in too much detail.

To understand all this I told you up there, we have to read at least 30% of the book, since at the beginning the author talks so much about Lucy, her sisters and her mother that it is difficult to understand which one will be the main character. I understand that some questions needed to be presented regarding this past life topic, but I think the topic has been extended to exhaustion leaving the beginning very tiring.

So far so good because then the story engages and gets very interesting, rushing to a brilliant conclusion, which is then delayed by events quite irrelevant and fantastic for the story, which left me very frustrated with the author again, who sinned right where we (me and the girls in my book club) least liked in The Air He Breathes. We get that why feeling, you didn’t have to, you know!?

If you enjoyed The Air He Breathes you are likely to enjoy this one too, because overall I found the story a lot more interesting. But if you haven’t enjoyed it so much then I wouldn’t even try to read this one anymore, as it follows the same story line.

Maybe I’ll give the author one more chance when I can catch Mr Daniels, who was previously in the Unlimited catalog but has been dropped. Maybe when it come back?

But seriously, for me Brittainy has some really good story ideas, and she always sins in their development … at least from the two read so far. Anyway, I wouldn’t be here giving her more chances if I hadn’t like her stories.
