I have bolded the stories I have read so far, which are basically the reasons why I downloaded both books in the first place.

In the first collection, I really wanted to read Colleen Hoover’s short story, which connects Finding Cinderella and Hopeless’s stories with All Your Perfects. It’s narrated by Daniel, and folks, I totally remembered why Daniel is one of the Colleen’s good guys I love reading about. I will not give many details about the story because those who have not read the books above will not understand it. Therefore, if you did not read my friend, run to read them first because the story makes no sense without them.

The second short story I’d been expecting a lot was from Elle Kennedy, since she had also commented throughout the year that we would have something from Briar’s boys, from Off-Campus series. Well, this story brings us a little more of Logan and Grace’s life. They will go out on a weekend trip and unusual things will eventually happen. I really enjoyed the story, and I thought Elle ended up choosing them because Garret and Dean appeared a little bit in the latest book from the Briar U spin-off series, The Play.

But the surprise of this collection for me is the one from Penépole Ward & Vi Keeland. I swear I thought it was cool, I just didn’t think it was so cool. The girl’s mistake was so merry that you will only understand it when you finish reading the story. And I got such a huge urge to have a whole book about this story. I finished thinking why is it over? I want more! The story will show a girl who has many life resolutions after going through a difficult time and a breakup of a long relationship. Because of this she ends up confusing a guy who is sitting in front of the building where she lives with a homeless person, but by the time she approaches him to offer food and money she already sees that it was a huge mistake. The angry guy treats her really bad because of it, and finally, she will eventually meet him again in a very unusual situation. And then we will have our story happeningin a really good way.

Read it! Seriously, it’s worth the effort for those who are lookinf for a challenge with an English reading.

Now the second collection as a whole was a surprise to me, because I did not imagine two stories from the same authors, but then we had them. And it was amazing.

I haven’t finished reading all the stories either, but I’ve read the one by Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen, because the tale is about the best couple ever Wes and Jamie, and the one by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward, who once again surprised me with a too good story!

The Wes and Jamie’s story will revolve around a team that wants to recruit Jamie as their official goalkeeper, and an episode that will leave an epic story for these two to tell their grandchildren. I loved it so much and loved that we have many moments with Blake. If you want to read this I would advise you to have read at least the Him and Us books, although it would be ideal if you had read Blake’s spin-off too to understand why he is with Jess.

The other Vi and Penelope’s story, on the other hand, tells of a girl who is all unlucky at the end of the year, a divorce that is about to materialize, and who is challenged by her friend to kiss a stranger in a cafe they were waiting for a meeting. The challenge is accepted but what she didn’t realize was that the unknown man would prove to be not so unknown later, and it will give us this whole plot of the short story later, and that was a sweet love to read. Really cute, I’m serious.

I haven’t read the others yet but as I said I imagine they are good too, and finally, people, they are free! So enjoy!

As autoras tiraram do ar.
