Top 5 melhores lidos de 2019 – Top 5 best reads of 2019

Mais um ano chegando ao fim e  estamos aqui fazendo nosso top 5 – que nunca é top 5 hehehe – dos melhores lidos do ano.

Para quem sempre entra aqui no blog acho que não haverá espanto algum de ver dois livros da Colleen e dois livros da Elle no meio dos tops, e por isso eu classifiquei os dois a mais delas como extras aqui da lista porque eles não poderiam ficar de fora.

Ah, e só pra lembrar os livros não estão em ordem de preferência, pois todos eles foram marcados por mim lá no meu caderninho de leituras ao longo do ano como os mais mais, ou seja, eu gostei MUITO de todos eles.

Vamos começar com Verity da Colleen Hoover, que arrancou o posto  de É assim que acaba de meu livro preferido, e até agora ainda está no posto de favorito. Que livro meus amigos! É ler com o coração na mão, e eu amei o final. Mistura perfeita de romance com suspense.

Não poderia deixar de citar o penúltimo livro que li esse ano, que foi Regretting You, pois o livro trouxe o retrato perfeito de uma relação mãe e filha e uma história sensacional cheia de surpresas. A Colleen só melhora!

O próximo mais mais foi Nós da Elle Kennedy & Sarina Bowen, que conseguiu ser mais fantástico que Ele, que eu já achei sensacional. E também The play, o último livro da série Briar U, que pra mim foi a melhor história da série. Conhecer o Hunter da maneira correta foi tudo de bom e a história me lembrou demais o livro do O acordo.

Tem também o primeiro que lemos no clube do livro esse ano, que foi o Precisamos falar sobre o Kevin da Lionel Shriver, e que livro foi esse! Livro com temática polêmica. Uma bela reflexão a respeito de porque temos filhos e como os criamos.

Outro que também discute um assunto que eu achei relevante demais foi o Vilão da V.E. Schwab, já que o conceito de bom e mal é mais relativo que imaginamos.

E por último, desde que li esse livro não consigo parar de pensar nele. O Uma curva no tempo da Danni Atkins, pois a temática dele é a que geralmente mais me toca em livros, que é a do e se eu tivesse feito tal escolha. Essa dúvida do e se é cruel, e nesse livro meus amigos, vai fazer vocês pensarem demais na vida.

E essa é uma mensagem que deixo aqui no final do post. Vocês estão fazendo o que realmente gostariam? A história do se arrependa do que você fez é bem verdade. Façam, e daí se arrependam depois de terem feito porque a incerteza é algo que consome a alma.

Another year coming to an end and we’re here making our top 5 – which is never a top 5  really hehehe – bext reads of the year.

For those who always access the blog I think there will be no surprise to find two books of Colleen and two books of Elle in the middle of the tops, and so I classified the two more of them as extras here on the list because they could not stay out of it.

Oh, and just to remember the books are not in order of preference, because they were all marked by me on my book of readings throughout the year as the ones I most liked, so, I sure LOVED them all.

Let’s start with Colleen Hoover’s Verity, who kicked off the post from It Ends With Us as my Favorite Book, and so far it’s still in my favorite post. What a book my friends! You read it with your heart in your hand, and I loved the ending. Perfect mix of thriller and romance.

I couldn’t help but also mention the penultimate book I read this year, which was Regretting You, because the book brought the perfect portrait of a mother-daughter relationship and a sensational story full of surprises. Colleen just gets better and better!

The next plus from this list was Us from Elle Kennedy & Sarina Bowen, who managed to be more fantastic than Him, which I already thought was sensational. And also The play, the latest book in the Briar U series, which for me was the best story in the series. Knowing Hunter the right way was so good, and the story reminded me so much of The Deal.

There’s also the first one we read at the book club this year, which was the We need to talk about Kevin from Lionel Shriver, and what a book that was! A Book with controversial theme. A beautiful reflection on why we have children and how we raise them.

Another one that also discusses a subject that I thought too relevant was Vicious by V.E. Schwab, since the concept of good and evil is more relative than we think.

And lastly, since reading this book I can’t stop thinking about it. Danni Atkins’s Fractured, because this theme is the one that usually touches me most in books, which is the what if I had made another choice. This doubt of what if is cruel, and in this book my friends, will make you think too much about your life.

And this is a message that I want to leave here at the end of the post. Are you doing what you really would like to do? The story of the regret of what you did is very true. Do it, and then regret after it because uncertainty consumes the soul.
