Proibido – Tabitha Suzuma (Forbidden)

Aquele tipo de livro que peguei pra ler pra saber se a autora conseguiria me cativar já que o assunto tratado é polêmico demais e pra mim, assim como pra maioria da sociedade causa um tremendo estranhamento.

O livro vai tratar da temática de incesto. Nós iremos acompanhar a história de dois irmãos, Lochan e Maya que se apaixonam um pelo outro.

E sério gente, eu comecei o livro pensando que não seria convencida desse amor mas confesso que ao final da história meu sentimento era um eca misturado com um ah cara, deixem eles fugirem e serem felizes onde ninguém saiba que são irmãos sabe. Juro, eu , Michele, uma pessoa que não é a favor nem de primos ficarem, desejei que os irmãos pudessem viver o amor deles em paz. Prova cabal de que essa autora é foda e fez um texto que realmente te faz entrar na cabeça de ambos os irmãos e desenvolver certa empatia por toda situação que eles passam.

Pra mim o tipo de livro que mais vale a pena, pois adoro entender diferentes pontos de vista do meu (e aqui no caso de toda uma sociedade).

Lochan e Maya tem quase a mesma idade na história, e juntos tomam conta dos 3 irmãos mais novos já que a mãe, após o pai abandonar a família pra se casar com outra mulher, largou mão total das obrigações maternais. Eles sem querer são levados a conviver em um ambiente em que vivem praticamente como um casal mesmo, pois os dois acabam fazendo esse papel de pais para os outros 3 irmãos.

E ambos relatam ao longo da história que nunca tiveram interesses românticos quando estão se descobrindo apaixonados. O que nos leva a entender que desde cedo, antes do ambiente familiar influenciar, eles já se interessavam romanticamente um pelo outro sem entender direito.

É interessante notar que nem mesmo Lochan e Maya acham o relacionamento dos dois normal, e é de cortar o seu coração acompanhar todo o martírio psicológico que ambos passam para poderem admitir pra si mesmos que gostam de um irmão. Lochan é o que mais sofre para aceitar a realidade desse amor proibido.

A história pode ser considerada  uma tragédia dos tempos modernos, pois não fica devendo nada a grandes nomes como Shakespeare, me lembrando aqui de Édipo Rei, por exemplo.

Devo ressaltar aqui que na maior parte do livro os dois nem se tocam. O sofrimento é quase que todo psicológico por conta da irmandade presente mesmo.

E gente, como eu odiei essa mãe, que personagem desprezível! Ela pra mim foi o símbolo das pessoas que sentam no próprio rabo para falar da vida dos outros.

Isso tudo dito, eu afirmo que se você assim como eu gosta de entender diferentes pontos de vista, e enfim, se você também curte um romance esse é o tipo de livro que com certeza irá te tocam, então a leitura é mais que recomendada.

That kind of book I picked up to read to see if the author would be able to captivate me since the subject treated is too controversial and for me, as well as for the majority of the society, causes tremendous strangeness.

The book will deal with the theme of incest. We will follow the story of two siblings, Lochan and Maya who fall in love with each other.

And seriously people, I started the book thinking that I would not be convinced of this love but I confess that at the end of the story my feeling was a yuck mixed with an ah man, let them run away and be happy where no one knows they are siblings, you know. I swear, I, Michele, a person who is not even in favor of cousins ​​dating, wished that they two could live their love in peace. Full proof that this author is awesome and made a text that really makes you understand the minds of both siblings and develop a certain empathy for every situation they go through.

For me the type of book that is most worthwhile, since I love to understand different points of view from mine (and here in this case of an entire society).

Lochan and Maya are almost the same age in the story, and together they take care of the 3 younger siblings since the mother, after the father abandoned the family to marry another woman, gave up all the maternal obligations. They are unwittingly led to live in an environment in which they practically live as a couple, since the two end up playing this role of parents for the other 3 brothers.

And both report throughout the story that they never had romantic interests when they are discovering themselves in love. Which leads us to understand that from an early age, before the family environment influenced them, they were already romantically interested in each other without understanding it properly.

It is interesting to note that not even Lochan and Maya find the relationship of the two normal, and it is heartbreaking to follow all the psychological martyrdom that both go through to be able to admit to themselves that they like a sibling. Lochan suffers the most to accept the reality of this forbidden love.

The story can be considered a tragedy of modern times, because it owes nothing to big names like Shakespeare, reminding me here of Oedipus King, for example.

I must emphasize here that in most of the book the two don’t even touch. Suffering is almost all psychological because of the brotherhood present.

And people, how I hated their mother, what a despicable character! She for me was the symbol of people who sit on their tails to talk about the lives of others.

That said, I can affirm that if you, like me, like to understand different points of view, and anyway, if you also enjoy a romance, this is the type of book that will surely touch you, so reading is more than recommended.
