Hotter Than Ever – Elle Kennedy #5 Out Of Uniform

Pessoal pessoal, esse talvez seja o livro mais hot da série toda (mesmo porque há um aviso da própria Elle Kennedy no início de que esta história contém muito mais palavras de pesadas no quesito sexo do que os outros livros) e acredito que o que contenha a história do personagem desta turma de SEALs que está lutando aí pelo primeiro lugar no meu coração.

Lembram que no livro 4, Getting Hotter, nós terminamos a história meio que num cliffhanger do que vai rolar entre Dylan e Aidan? Pois bem, este livro 5 conta a história dos dois, mas com Claire, a futura ex cunhada de Dylan se unindo a esse casal para formar um trisal. SIM! Este livro é sobre um trisal! E confesso que é um dos mais emocionates viu.

O livro vai começar com Claire sendo abandonada pelo irmão de Dylan praticamente no altar. Chris simplesmente vai embora deixando cerimônia e noiva para Dylan e sua mãe lidarem.

Dylan com seu lado herói aflorado se sente meio responsável por ajudar Claire, e assim ela acaba meio que a contra gosto indo passar uns dias na casa dele para fugir de toda polêmica.

Só que quando eles chegam em casa, a nova “casa” de Dylan é no apartamento de Aidan. E daí descobrimos que Dylan está morando com Aidan desde que o contrato de aluguel dele e de Seth terminou e Seth foi morar junto com Miranda e seus dois filhos.

E claro, os dois estão juntos desde aquele final do último livro. Só que conforme a história vai se desenrolando a gente entende que Dylan e Aidan geralmente trazem uma mulher para curtir junto com os dois, pois de alguma forma eles não curtem  sempre fazer coisas apenas entre eles.

O mais legal é toda a descrição que Elle vai fazendo dos pensamentos de ambos sobre essa situação que nenhum consegue definir bem, e que mais tarde também descreverá os pensamentos de Claire sobre querer algo com os dois ao mesmo tempo. Achei muito válida as descrições de pensamento dela, algo que eu sinto que pessoas da vida real pensariam mesmo. E enfim, pra mim este foi o charme e diferencial deste livro, pois mesmo o assunto sendo polêmico você não consegue deixar de se apegar aos três e torcer para que eles consigam se resolver e fiquem juntos.

O charme extra fica por conta da personalidade de Dylan, que é definitivamente um dos personagens mais cativantes desta série, e todas as suas birras com Claire e seu carinho excessivo com Aidan. Coisa linda de morrer de ler.

Sério, leiam a série toda, mas principalmente este.

Agora estou ansiosa para fechar a série com o último lvro que vai contar a história de Jackson, o nosso SEAL que veio do Texas. Volto aqui contar o que achei assim que ler.

Guys guys, this is perhaps the hottest book in the whole series (there’s even a warning from Elle Kennedy herself at the beginning of the story stating it contains a lot more heavy words on sex than the other books) and I believe that it contains the story of the character of this group of SEALs who is fighting for first place in my heart.

Do you remember that in book 4, Getting Hotter, we ended the story in a kind of cliffhanger of what is going to happen between Dylan and Aidan? Well, this book 5 tells the story of the two, but with Claire, Dylan’s ex-future sister-in-law joining this couple to form a trisal. YES! This book is about a permanent threesome! And I confess that it is one of the most thrilling  I’ve read.

The book will begin with Claire being abandoned by Dylan’s brother practically at the altar. Chris simply leaves the ceremony and the bride for Dylan and his mother to deal with.

Dylan with his heroic side aroused feels responsible for helping Claire, and so she ends up reluctantly going to spend a few days at his house to escape all the controversy.

Only when they get home, Dylan’s new “home” is in Aidan’s apartment. And then we find out that Dylan has been living with Aidan since his and Seth’s rental agreement ended and Seth moved in with Miranda and her children.

And of course, the two have been together since that end of the last book. But as the story unfolds, we understand that Dylan and Aidan usually bring a woman to enjoy together with them, because somehow they don’t always enjoy doing things just between the two of them.

The coolest thing is all Elle’s description of their thoughts about this situation that neither can define well, and that later will also describe Claire’s thoughts about wanting something with both at the same time. I thought her descriptions very valid, something that I feel that real life people would really think. And for me, this was the charm and differential of this book, because even though the subject is controversial, you can’t help but get attached to the three and hope that they can resolve themselves and stay together.

The extra charm is due to the personality of Dylan, who is definitely one of the most endearing characters in this series, and all his argues with Claire and his excessive affection for Aidan. Beautiful thing to appreciate during your reading.

Seriously, read the whole series, but mainly this one.

Now I’m looking forward to closing the series with the last book that will tell the story of Jackson, our SEAL who came from Texas. I’ll come back here to tell you what I thought about the book as soon as I read it.
