Teto para Dois – Beth O’Leary (The Flatshare)

História gostosinha e que enche o coração de amor? Temos neste livro. E que história linda! Um romance/comédia dos bons, portanto está mais do que indicado.

Nele iremos conhecer Tiffy e Leon. Tiffy está passando por uma fase meio ruim pois terminou com o namorado faz 3 meses e agora precisa sair de seu apartamento e achar um lugar bem em conta para morar em Londres (missão quase impossível), algo que seu pequeno salário consiga pagar. Leon é um enfermeiro que trabalha no turno da noite e que está precisando fazer dinheiro extra para ajudar o irmão urgente.

A ideia de dividir o apartamento parece perfeita para ambos, apesar da divisão da mesma cama soar estranha no início.

Tiffy acaba alugando o apto de Leon através de sua namorada Kay, e então passa a morar lá depois que sai do trabalho à tarde até sair no outro dia de manhã para trabalhar, quando Leon chega, dorme e se prepara para sair à tarde e voltar para seu próximo turno.

Os dois não se encontram porém começam a ficar amigos e mais íntimos através dos bilhetes em post-its que começam a deixar um pro outro pelo apartamento. E sério, ler esses bilhetes é uma das melhores partes deste livro.

Ao mesmo tempo que isso acontece vamos conhecendo mais da vida de Tiffy (seu relacionamento com o ex namorado que não era tão bom quanto ela imaginava, seus amigos fiéis que podem ou não estar ficando, sua vida na editora onde trabalha e sonha ser editora chefe) e também da vida de Leon (seu relacionamento pra lá de frio com a namorada, seu jeito fechado com as pessoas mas ao mesmo tempo carinhoso e prestativo com alguns pacientes e o grande problema que está enfrentando com o irmão).

Tudo isso unido a interação de Tiffy e Leon faz o o livro ser perfeito para passar um tempo mais do que agradável. E afirmo aqui que as cenas dele foram feitas para virar um filme. Eu lia e visualizava cada cena perfeita na minha cabeça. Espero que algum estúdio compre os direitos e transforme isso em filme mesmo.

Quando terminei fiquei extremamente curiosa para ler mais alguma coisa da Beth O’Leary. Com certeza tentarei ler, e caso leia volto aqui fazer resenha do livro, claro.

Good story that fills your heart with love? We have  it in this book! And what a beautiful story! A good romance / comedy, so it is more than indicated.

In it we will meet Tiffy and Leon. Tiffy is going through a hard time because she broke up with her boyfriend 3 months ago and now she needs to leave her apartment and find an affordable place to live in London (almost mission impossible), something that her small paycheck can pay. Leon is a nurse who works the night shift and is needing to make extra money urgently to help his brother.

The idea of ​​sharing the apartment seems perfect for both of them, although sharing the same bed sounds strange at first.

Tiffy ends up renting Leon’s apartment through his girlfriend Kay, and then moves there  to stay after work in the afternoon until leaving the next morning to work again, when Leon arrives, sleeps and prepares to leave in the afternoon and return for his next shift.

The two do not meet but they begin to become friends and more intimate through the post-its notes that they start to leave to each other through the apartment. And seriously, reading those notes is one of the best parts of this book.

At the same time this happens, we get to know more about Tiffy’s life (her relationship with her ex-boyfriend who was not as good as she imagined, her faithful friends who may or may not be dating, her life at the publishing house where she works and dreams of being chief editor) ) and also Leon’s life (his cold relationship with his girlfriend, his closed way with people but at the same time loving and helpful with some patients and the big problem he is facing with his brother).

All of this combined with the interaction of Tiffy and Leon makes the book perfect for spending more than a pleasant time. And I say here that the scenes of this book were made to become a film. I read and instantly pictured each perfect scene in my head. I hope that a studio buys the rights and turns it into a movie.

When I finished I was extremely curious to read more book from Beth O’Leary. I will definitely try to read, and if I do, I will come back here to review the book, of course.
