Eu amei ambos Lexington e Corrigan. Os dois são pessoas maravilhosas com suas falhas da mesma forma que qualquer um de nós. Eles namoraram no passado mas por conta de alguns motivos que iremos descobrir ao longo da história Lex deixa a cidade e Corrigan para traz quando vai para a faculdade.

Dez anos mais tarde ele se tornou um homens de negócios bem sucedido e também um pai solteiro cuidando de sua filha pequena, e um incidente com sua mãe o traz de volta a sua cidade natal.

E é a sua filha que vai de certa forma reunir ele e Corrigan, já que Lex precisará pedir ajuda de Corrigan para conseguir ajudar a mãe e dar conta do trabalho remoto ao mesmo tempo.

Esse relacionamento entre os dois trará esqueletos do passado escondidos no armário de volta a vida. e eles irão ter que resolver seus ressentimentos para serem capazes de ter um ambiente normal de volta.

Tudo que posso dizer desta parte para frente é que foi muito legal ler como ambos se dão conta que ainda tem sentimentos um pelo outro mesmo depois de tanto tempo.

Este livro é com certeza da lista dos tem que ler da Kendall, e se você leu qualquer livro dela  e amo há 99% de chance que você também irá curtir este livro, já que seus personagens, o lugar e todos os acontecimentos são muito bons.

You know that kind of book that brings warmth to your heart!? That’s exactly it!

I loved both Lexington and Corrigan. The two are nice people with their flaws just like any of us are. They dated in the past and due to some reasons we will get to know thru the story Lex left town and Corrigan behind when he went to college.

Ten years later he became a successful business man and also a father who is raising his daughter on his own, but an incident with his mother brings him back to his home town.

And it’s his daughter that will kind of reunite he and Corrigan again, since Lex will need to ask for Corrigan’s help to be able to assist his mother and keep working remotely.

This relationship between both of them will brings skeletons from the past hidden in the closet out, and they will have to solve their hardfeelings to be able to have a nice environment again.

And all I can say from this part on is how nice it was to read how both of them realise they still have feelings for each other even after all this time.

This is a must read from Kendall, and if you read any previous book from her and loved it there’s a 99% chance you’ll also love this book since the characters, the place and the happenings are amasing.
