Coração Perverso – Leisa Rayven (Wicked Heart)

Eu estava guardando esse spin-off de Meu Romeu/Minha Julieta para um dia que quisesse ficar com meu coração quentinho, pois sabia que iria curtir a história, já que adorei todos os outros livros que li da Leisa (Mr Romance, Professor Feelgood).

Neste spin-off  iremos acompanhar a história de Elissa Holt, irmão do Ethan Holt, nosso galã de Meu Romeu/Minha Julieta. Seis anos atrás ela teve uma mega desilusão amorosa com um moço que acabou se tornando um astro de Hollywood, Liam Quinn, e agora será obrigada a conviver com ele e sua noiva também famosa em um peça da Broadway que ela será diretora de palco.

Claro que ela não quer isso de jeito nenhum, mas  como ela aceitou o trabalho antes de saber quem seriam os atores, ela não tem muito como justificar desistir agora.

Quando Liam vê Elissa,  nós entendemos que a história mal resolvida dos dois não é apenas mal resolvida para Elissa.

A história irá então nos mostrar ao mesmo tempo os  dois tentando lidar com esta situação estranha no presente, e esse passado dos dois, como se conheceram, o que rolou entre eles até Liam pisar na bola grandão com Elissa.

E sério, eu passei o livro todo bem puta com o Liam, e bem mexida com todos os sentimentos da Elissa. Os sentimentos dela realmente me pegaram em pontos pessoais. Mas garanto que grande parte da minha putice com ele foi atenuada no final do livro.

Além da história dos dois, nós também temos os personagens coadjuvantes como o Josh, melhor amigo de Elissa, que roubam a cena. Ele e Angel, noiva de Liam, foram personagens fundamentais para eu ter adorado a história. Josh por ser o amigo nerdão, e Angel por ser a atriz que todo mundo deveria odiar mas que é tão gente boa que até Elissa adora ela.

E é isso pessoal, o livro vale super a pena. Eu li em uma noite. Sentei e só parei quando havia terminado. Então por aí vocês podem perceber que eu realmente curti a leitura. Recomendo super.

I was saving this Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet spin-off for a day that wanted to keep my heart warm, because I knew I would enjoy the story, since I loved all the other books I read about Leisa (Mr Romance, Professor Feelgood) .

In this spin-off we will follow the story of Elissa Holt, Ethan Holt’s sister, from Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet. Six years ago she had her heart broken by a guy who ended up becoming a Hollywood star, Liam Quinn, and now she will be forced to live with him and his also famous bride in a Broadway play where she will be the stage director.

Of course she doesn’t want that at all, but since she accepted the job before she knew who the actors would be, she doesn’t have much to justify giving up on it now.

When Liam sees Elissa, we understand that their business are unsolved to him as well as to Elissa.

The story will then show us both trying to deal with this strange situation in the present, and also their past, how they met each other, what happened between them until Liam really messed up with Elissa.

And seriously, I spent the book really pissed off with Liam, and really affected by  Elissa’s feelings. Her feelings really got to me on a personal side. But I assure you that much of my pissing with him was made up at the end of the book.

In addition to their story, we also have supporting characters like Josh, Elissa’s best friend, who steal the show. He and Angel, Liam’s fiancee, were fundamental characters for me to have loved the story. Josh for being the nerdy friend, and Angel for being the actress that everyone should hate but who is so nice that even Elissa adores her.

And that’s it guys, the book is super worth it. I read in one night. I sat down and only stopped when I was done. So you can see that I really enjoyed reading it. Therefore, I super recommend it
