Esse livro vai contar a história de amor nada tradicional de Griffin e Layne.

Layne é um advogada que nos seus 33 anos já está estabelecida na carreira com seu próprio escritório.  Ela vai conhecer Griffin quando sua secretária resolve dar uma massagem de presente de aniversário para ela.

Griffin, o massagista da vez, gosta de cara de Layne e após a massagem tenta chamá-la para uma date. Porém Layne recusa, mesmo tendo curtido Griffin igualmente, só porque o acha muito novo para ela.

Mais tarde ela descobrirá que Griffin é irmão mais novo de uma de suas amigas, e o coitado acaba sendo colocado de vez na friendzone.

Os anos passam e Layne e Griffin namoram outras pessoas, porém se mantém amigos. Layne está realmente decepcionada pois quer muito casar e ser mãe, mas está vendo que seu sonho pode não se realizar já que parece impossível achar esse amor verdadeiro que ela tanto procura. E quando ela resolve começar a fazer terapia o assunto Griffin irá vir a tona.

Eu curti bastante a história pois ela discute muito a premissa de queremos fazer planos exatos para a vida mas a vida nem sempre faz os mesmos planos. É muito engraçado e interessante ver como a ficha de Layne vai caindo para este fato e para o fato de que o amor da vida dela está presente desde que ela conheceu Griffin.

Galera, não vou dar mais detalhes para não estragar a história, mas saibam que vai rolar um chão aí até nossa mocinha cabeçuda entender que o que ela quer está na vida dela não do jeito exato que ela quer.

Mas vai valer a pena. E vocês com certeza ficarão com o coraçãozinho cheio de amor quando terminaram de ler assim como eu fiquei.

This book will tell the untraditional love story of Griffin and Layne.

Layne is a lawyer who, at the age of 33, is already established in her career with her own office. She will meet Griffin when her secretary decides to give her a birthday massage.

Griffin, the masseur in question, likes Layne at first sight and after the massage tries to call her for a date. But Layne refuses, even though she liked Griffin equally, just because she believes he’s too young for her.

Later she will discover that Griffin is the younger brother of one of her friends, and the poor guy ends up being placed in the friendzone.
The years go by and Layne and Griffin date other people, but they remain friends. Layne is really disappointed because she really wants to get married and be a mother, but she sees that her dream may not come true since it seems impossible to find that true love that she is looking for. And when she decides to start therapy, the subject Griffin will come up.

I really enjoyed the story because it discusses the premise that we want to make exact plans for life, but life does not always make the same plans. It is very funny and interesting to see Layne realising this fact and for the fact that the love of her life has been present since she met Griffin.

Guys, I’m not going to give more details to not spoil the story, but know that there will be a big way until this girl understands that what she wants is already in her life but not in the exact way she wants it.

But it will be worth it. And you will surely have a little heart full of love when you finish reading as I did.
