Princesa de Papel – Erin Watt (Papel Princess)

O projeto Elle Kennedy continua e agora leremos a série The Royals, começando por Princesa de Papel.

Nesta série conheceremos Ella Harper, uma menina de 16 anos que  vive sozinha desde que a mãe morreu.

Tudo começa quando ela é abordada na escola que estuda por Callum, um homem desconhecido que se denomina seu novo guardião, já que seu pai acabou de falecer.

Ella fica desconcertada num primeiro momento, achando que Callum pode ser um tipo de sequestrador, já que ela sequer conhece o pai. Apenas tem um relógio que ele possuía e sabe que ele se chamava Steve.

Porém acaba aceitando a proposta de Callum de ir morar com ele, já que assim conseguirá fazer uma faculdade e no futuro ter uma vida melhor.

Ao chegar na casa, que para ela parece mais um castelo, ela conhece os 5 filhos de Callum, que como ela mesma descreve parecem todos deuses gregos de tão bonitos.

Um deles em especial chama mais a sua atenção, Reed, e este parece ser o líder dos irmãos, que por conta de suas ordens são extremamente desagradáveis com Ella já que acham que ela é algum tipo de amante de Callum.

Os meninos perderam a mãe não faz muito tempo e culpam Callum por isso e Ella vai descobrir que após essa perda a família nunca mais foi a mesma.

Este primeiro livro vai nos mostrar como Ella passará de inimiga dos irmãos a, podemos dizer, cola que os unirá ainda mais.

Mas ele termina num cliffhanger bem estressante em que você ficará bem puta com Reed.

Espero que no segundo livro ele se redima. Voltarei aqui postar sobre. Aguardem cenas do próximo livro no projeto Elle Kennedy.

E ah, Erin Watt é um pseudônimo usado pela Elle Kennedy junto com a amiga dela Jen Frederick para escrever essa série YA.

The Elle Kennedy project continues and we will now read The Royals series, starting with Paper Princess.

In this series we will meet Ella Harper, a 16-year-old girl who has lived alone since her mother died.

It all starts when she is approached at the school she studies by Callum, an unknown man who calls himself her new guardian, since her father just passed away.

Ella is suspicious at first, thinking that Callum may be a type of kidnapper, since she doesn’t even know her father. She only has a watch that he owned and she knows he was called Steve.

However, she ends up accepting Callum’s proposal to move in with him, since she will be able to go to college and have a better life in the future.

Upon arriving at the house, which looks more like a castle to her, she meets Callum’s 5 children, who, as she describes herself, all look like beautiful Greek gods.

One of them especially catches her eye, Reed, and he seems to be the brothers’s leader, who on account of his orders are extremely unpleasant with Ella since they believe she one os Callum’s lovers.

The boys lost their mother not long ago and blame Callum for it and Ella will discover that after that loss the family was never the same.

This first book will show us how Ella will go from being the enemy of the brothers to, we can say, glue that will unite them even more.

But it ends up in a very stressful cliffhanger where you’ll be really pissed at Reed.
