Swimming Lessons – Lili Reinhart

Que livro fantástico! que poesias lindas!

A Lili conseguiu me tocar em cada linha que li. As poesias de Swimming Lessons nos trazem o sentimento de que não estamos sozinhos, pois a Lili compartilha experiências que poderia ter sido vividas por mim e por você.

Nós temos muitas poesias falando de depressão, e muitas sobre amor, sobre inícios, meios e fins desses amores que poderiam ter sido escritas por qualquer um de nós.

Há também algumas sobre fama, isso um pouco distante da realidade de uma pessoa comum, mas achei legal que rola um reflexão de antes de depois da fama ali no meio que achei interessante acompanhar.

Ao final do livro temos poesias falando sobre perda de uma pessoa querida prematuramente, que creio eu sejam para para o Luke Perry, ator que trabalhava em Riverdale e morreu super do nada de um AVC.

Dito isso, recomendo super a leitura de TODAS as poesias do livro! Pra quem curte poesia será um prato cheio (de amor!) Apenas leiam!

What a fantastic book! What a beautiful poetry collection!

Lili managed to touch me on every line I read. The poems of Swimming Lessons give us the feeling that we are not alone, as Lili shares experiences that could have been lived by you and me.

We have a lot of poetry talking about depression, and a lot about love, about the beginnings, means and ends of those loves that could have been written by any of us.

There are also some about fame, a little distant from the reality of an ordinary person, but I thought it was cool to have a reflection of before and after fame, it was interesting to see her perspective.

At the end of the book we have poetry talking about losing a loved one prematurely, which I believe are for Luke Perry, an actor who worked in Riverdale and died super suddenly from a stroke.

That said, I highly recommend reading ALL the poetry in the book! For those who enjoy poetry it will be a plate full (of love!) Just read!
