One Night of Scandal – Elle Kennedy #2 After Hours

Eita que essa série só tá esquentando. One night of Scandal foi bem mais legal que One Night of Sin, já devo afirmar. Parece que a qualidade tá aumentando conforme o próximo livro, então vamos ver se isso se mantêm no último da série onde iremos conhecer a história de AJ.

Agora aqui, a história contada é a de Reed e sua paixão por Darcy desde que o amigo começou a namorar com ela meses atrás. Ele tentou se manter afastado para não dar bandeira, mas numa noite em que ele estava tentando investigar sobre um possível traficante que andava vendendo drogas na Sin em uma outra boate Reed acaba encontrando Darcy por acaso sem AJ e ela então diz que os dois terminaram.

Não acreditando muito num primeiro momento Reed fica junto de Darcy a noite toda e acaba a levando para casa. Mas nesse meio tempo um clima forte pra danar vai rolar entre os dois e eles quase cairão em tentação. Quase, pois Ree foge falando q não podia e não terminando o que iria falar.

Como eu já pontuei no primeiro livro e volto a repetir neste, essa série pelo jeito é cheia de mulheres fortes pois Darcy vai tirar satisfação com Reed também e entender o que rolou entre eles na noite anterior e Reed vai acabar confessando seu crush eterno nela.

E sim, vai rolar, eles não vão aguentar. Porém vai ficar se sentindo mto mal por conta de AJ. Pra piorar, AJ vai pedir pra Reed assumir o lugar dele numas aulas de defesa pessoal na escola que Darcy dá aula. E gente, dá dó de ver no começo o jeito que Reed fica sem saber o que fazer, achando que vai perder o amigo e o amor da vida dele.

Mas calma, mta calma nessa hora porque pra tudo se dá um jeito e aqui não seria diferente. Com um bom final feliz e alguns acontecimentos bem inusitados, eu me diverti horrores com a leitura então continuo achando que a série vale a pena para algumas horas agradavéis + as cenas hot que a Elle Kennedy narra, meu Deus, não tem pra ninguém. Essa mulher é mestre! Só leiam!

Jeez that this series is only heating up. One night of Scandal was a lot nicer than One Night of Sin, I have to say. It seems that the quality is increasing with each next book, so let’s see if it stays like that in the last one of the series where we will get to know AJ’s story.

Now here, the story told is about Reed and his passion for Darcy since his friend started dating her months ago. He tried to stay away the most he could, but one night he was trying to investigate a possible drug dealer who was selling drugs at Sin in another nightclub. Reed happened to run into Darcy without AJ and then she says the two split up.

Not quite believing at first Reed stays with Darcy all night and ends up taking her home. But in this meantime a strong something  will happen between the two and they will almost fall into temptation. Almost, because Reed runs away saying he couldn’t and not finishing what he was going to say.

As I already pointed out in the first book and I repeat it again in this one, this series is apparently full of strong women because Darcy will take satisfaction from Reed too, trying to understand what happened between them the night before and Reed will end up confessing his eternal crush on her.

And yes, it will happen, they will not resist. But later they will be feeling very bad because of AJ. To make matters worse, AJ is going to ask Reed to take his place in self-defense classes at the school Darcy teaches. And guys, it makes me sad to see the way Reed doesn’t know what to do in the beginning, thinking he will lose his friend and the love of his life.

But calm down, really calm down, because everything can be fixed and here it would be no different. With a good happy ending and some small plot twists, I had a great time reading it so I still think the series is worth it for a few pleasant hours + the hot scenes that Elle Kennedy narrates, my God, you won’t find any better. This woman is a master! Just read it!
