04/01/09…Happy Birthday Captain!!!…

Today is a special day. It wasn’t last year since I didn’t know this person yet, but today, well, today I can’t just sit here and discuss about something I did or ate or saw or liked etc as usual. Today is Mike’s birthday!!!! Happy Birthday Mike!!!

I don’t have any talent to dedicate to you in this day…don’t know how to play anything, don’t know how to sing, don’t know how to draw…but I do know to write. I always write something for people I like. I write to them because that’s a way to show how much I care and my life is better after them. And Captain, my life is somehow better and happier after we knew each other. There are so many things you showed me with your stories, your passions, your love for your family. You always remember me about the things that many times I forget I’m lucky to have. And you and D showed me that love is always possible, even when you least expect it. You and D make me hope someday I’m gonna find the right person in the right time.

Your life is really a movie. Not in the meaning of all the glamour the hollywood movies have, but in the meaning that if you are a good person you always win in the end. You passed through many bad situations, but in the end you won. You got all the treasures a man can dream about: you have a wonderful son, a fantastic woman beside you and a job that you love. You’re definitely a winner Captain, and a symbol, an inspiration for us to keep trying. That’s a movie for me. Movies have this power in my life. They teach me things, they give me hope, they make me think about the situations I live. Your story had this power, so yes, your life is really a movie for me 😉
