Dente por Dente – Jenny Han e Siobhan Vivian (Fire With Fire)

O 2o livro conseguiu superar o primeiro. Ele é bem melhor, e apesar de ter muito mais páginas você lê até mais rápido que o primeiro. Mas o pior é quando você chega no final dele, quer dizer, o melhor né, pois o final é surpreendente. É aquele tipo de livro que você lê e quando termina fica com o queixo caído.
Pois foi assim, e depois eu não conseguia dormir porque fiquei um tempão tentando lembrar trechos dos dois livros que pudessem ter feito eu descobrir o que ia acontecer. Consegui lembrar de algumas coisas, mas eram detalhes tão sutis que dificilmente alguém notaria. Fica a dica então se você for começar a lê-lo agora. Preste muita atenção nos detalhes.
Neste segundo volume da série, Mary, Kat e Lilia meio que continuam a tentar se vingar de Reeve, pois apesar do acidente do homecoming, aparentemente ele não se arrependeu de nenhum dos seus pecados. As meninas estão cada vez mais unidas e bolam novas estratégias para continuar o plano o plano de vingança.
Na boa, parece algo tão estúpido e adolescente, mas achei o conteúdo de ambos os livros muito sério. Ele toca mesmo em questões muito delicadas e que devem ser trazidas a tona e discutidas pois fazem parte da nossa realidade.
Estou tentando descobrir se a Editora Novo Conceito irá lançar o 3o e último volume da série em português, pois se não houver nenhuma previsão eu irei comprar a versão em inglês mesmo no kindle já que preciso saber onde tudo isso vai dar. É agoniante não saber o que acontece depois de ler o final do 2o livro.

Fiquei muito, mas muito surpresa mesmo com Mary no final do livro. Eu jurava que a menina ir ser uma bruxa, sei lá, porque parecia que a tia era bruxa por tudo que descreviam dela na história. No entanto não era nada disso, a tia estava apenas tentando espantar o espírito dela. Achei chocante e demais. Resta saber porque só Lilia e Kat conseguem vê-la normalmente. E outra, achei a morte da Rennie totalmente chocante também. Não achei que a história chegaria neste ponto.
Estou com grandes expectativas para o 3o livro, mas fiquei meio com medo porque li umas reviews ruins no Amazon quando fui consultar o preço dele.

The second book managed to be better than the first. It is much better, and despite having many more pages you read it even faster than you’ve read the first. But the worst is when you arrive at the end of it, I mean, the best, because the end is amazing. It is that kind of book you read and when you end it your jaw is opened.
It was like that, and then I could not sleep because I spent a long time trying to remember excerpts from the two books that could have made me find out what was going to happen. I could remember some things, but they were so subtle details that hardly anyone would notice. So this is a tip if you’ll start to read the book now. Pay close attention to details.
In this second volume of the series, Mary, Kat and Lilia try to continue their revenge against Reeve, because despite the homecoming accident, apparently he did not regret any of his dames. The girls become more united and develop new strategies to continue the revenge plan.
To tell the truth, the story seems something so stupid and teenager when you explain the plot, but I found the contents of both books very serious. It touches very sensitive issues that should be brought to light since they are part of our reality.
I’m trying to find out if the Publisher Novo Conceito will release the third and final volume of the series in Portuguese, because if there is no prediction I will buy the English version for kindle since now I need to know where all this is going to end. It is distressing not knowing what happens after reading the end of the second book.

I was very, very surprised with Mary at the end of the book. I would swear she would end up being a witch, you know, because it seemed that her aunt was a witch for all it was described during the story. However it wasn’t any of it, the aunt was just trying to send her spirit away. I found shocking and awesome. The question is why only Lilia and Kat can see her. And other thing, I thought Rennie’s death totally shocking. I didn’t think the story would reach this point.
I have great expectations for the third book, but I’m kinda scared because I read some bad reviews at Amazon when I went to see the price of it.
