O Pedido – Meg Cabot (The Proposal)

Essa novela reascendeu todo o meu amor pela série da Mediadora. Já havia esquecido o quanto eu curto Suzannah Simon. Ela é demais, e agora que já é praticamente uma adulta está mais fantástica ainda.
Só não fico triste da história ter terminado tão rapidamente pois ainda tenho a continuação (Livro 7: Lembrança) para ler.
Aliás, eu tenho resenhas de todos os 6 livros da Mediadora, que são incríveis, e nunca postei. Preciso fazê-lo.
Confesso que quando li o 6o livro da série sempre fiquei imaginando como Suze seria adulta, se as aventuras continuariam, enfim,como seria com Jesse, se seus pais ainda estariam na ignorância a respeito de seus poderes de Mediadora e se ela ainda teria contato com o Padre Dominique. Porque o Padre Dominique é personagem mais fofo ever!
Nessa história curta você consegue ter um panorama de onde e como estão quase todos os personagens atualmente (Suze, Jesse, Padre Dominique, os pais de Suze, seus irmãos postiços…) e também vai acompanhar como o próprio nome diz como ela foi pedida em casamento. Obviamente que sendo ela uma Mediadora, o tal pedido envolve uma história misturada com aventura e fantasmas e eu super adorei. Fiquei com gostinho de quero mais e mal posso esperar para ler o livro 7.
Não vou nem me atrever a comentar spoilers pois a história é tão pequena que você lê numa sentada. Ahh, e embora eu tenha lido ela em inglês, a versão português tem de graça para ser baixada pelo kindle – Amazon e se não me engano no kobo também. Não tem desculpa pra não ler (bem, a não ser que você não tenha lido os 6 primeiros livros da série hehehe)

 

 

This novel turned on my love again for the series of Mediator. I had forgotten how much I enjoy Suzannah Simon. She’s awesome, and now that she’s practically an adult she’s still more awesome.
I’m just not sad that the story ended so quickly because I still have the new sequence (Book 7: Memento) to read.
By the way, I have reviews of all 6 Mediator books, which are amazing, and I never posted them. I need to do it.
I have to confess that when I read the sixth book in the series I always wondered how Suze would be as an adult if the adventures continue, how things would be with Jesse, if her parents would still be in ignorance about her Mediator powers and whether she would still have contact with Father Dominic. Because Father Dominic is the cutest character ever!
In this short story you can have an overview of where and how almost all the characters are currently (Suze, Jesse, Father Dominic, Suze’s parents, her step-brothers …) and you will also follow as the name of the book tells how she was proposed. Obviously she being a Mediator, the proposal involves a story mixed with adventure and ghosts and I super loved it. I got that taste when you want more and I can hardly wait to read the book 7.
I will not even dare to comment spoilers because the story is so small that you can read it at once. Ohh, and although I have read it in English, the Portuguese version is free to be downloaded to kindle – Amazon and I think it is free to kobo too. No excuse to not read (well, unless you have not read the first 6 books of the series hehehe)
