Last volume of the series, the sixth book finally tells the great secret plan of Paul.
Through the notes of his grandfather, a shifter too, he discovers that shifters are able to travel back in time with the help of ghosts. And he plans to go back 150 years ago and save Jesse’s life, so he has the chance to live and never know Suze in the future, giving Paul the chance to conquer Suze and give her a real boyfriend.
Obviously, when Suze discovers the big plan, she does everything to stop Paul from completing it. But, were not the roles reversing in this end with Suze becoming the villain not being able to give up on Jesse so he can have a new chance?
Again I say and repeat, if I had read this series with 18 years, OMG, I would have died of passion. It’s a good teen story, so if you don’t have patience with that kind of story, this book is not for you my friend. Now if you are one of those eternal lovers of this phase so full of mysteries and intensity, go ahead and take a chance.

This end of the story was so cool. I kept the whole book against Suze, because I thought she had to give up on Jesse so he could get a new chance. “It’s all about love,” and what better way to show unconditional love than by letting your love go? A great dilemma embedded in a story as new as this. I thought it was decent, I thought it was cool.
It turns out that, like every good end to Meg’s romantic book, she manages to get everything right. Suze goes back in time along with Paul in the hope of trying to stop him from saving Jesse, but the moment she sees him, she gives up preventing the guy who loves to take another chance.
The problem is that Felix Diego appears in the barn where everyone meets, and after a fight with Jesse make the barn catch fire accidentally. Suze gets stuck but Jesse comes back to get her and when Paul yells at her to move back to the present she ends up bringing Jesse’s body 150 years ago along with her by accident.
When Jesse finds his ghost body he is sucked into it and revives. He simply wakes up and finally, Jesse from 150 years ago may then have a second chance, but now with Suze.
Is there a more romantic ending to this? Okay, okay, the whole business being told so it seems pure foolishness, but believe me, when I read it makes all sense of the world and finally, it will make you inspired being you a time travel expert or not.
