O Acordo – Elle Kennedy (The Deal)

o acordo

o acordo 2

This is the number 1 book in the off-Campus series, a hot and romantic story that fulfills what is proposed.

I haven’t read any other in the series yet (which I intend to do because I had a lot of fun with this one), but I know they are linked by the characters (and college), not by the love story. Each book contains the story of a different couple.

In this one we know the story of Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham. She, a dedicated student who goes unnoticed in college, he, a super popular student and a hockey player with a scholarship.

The two never exchanged a single word until a philosophy subject that they have in common shared red grades to everybody in the class for a test. Garret realizing that Hannah was practically the only one who had a good grade begins to chase her to convince her to give him private lessons because if he doesn’t improve his grade he risks losing his hockey scholarship. Hannah at first denies because she hates convinced players like Garrett.

But he is persistent and when he realizes that Hannah has a crush on another colleague of theirs in the philosophy class, Garrett proposes a deal: Hannah helps him improve his note and in return they go out on “a fake date” to get the attention of the guy Hannah is interested.

The deal is signed, but it will become a friendship that will eventually evolve into something more without both parties having control and then, well, then you have to read the book to know.

Obviously, you good reader and not a bit naive when it comes to romance already knows that the inevitable will happen between these two, right?!

What I can say about it is that the book delivers what it is proposed since its beginning. We have a super well written novel, filled with superhot and exciting scenes, characters and dynamic scenes, and that perfect story to read and keep wondering about at the end.

Those who enjoy romantic comedy can pick up this one to read for sure, you won’t regret. There is only one small piece at the very end that I would say is dispensable, but even this part was kind of fast and it’s eventually relieved by the fun you will have with the characters and the story itself.

  1. Oi, Michele!
