5 melhores séries da vida – My 5 best series

As melhores séries de livros que já li por enquanto, ou pelo menos algumas delas. Elas não estão em ordem de preferência, exceto Harry, que sempre será a número um da minha vida.

1) HARRY POTTER- JK Rowling

É definitivamente a série da minha vida. A autora conseguiu unir fantasia com todas, simplesmente todas as lições reais que uma pessoa deve aprender.

2) JOGOS VORAZES – Suzanne Collins

Suzanne conseguiu ser antropofágica o bastante para beber na fonte das grandes distopias (1984, Admirável Mundo Novo, Farenheit 451 etc) e criar algo novo, dinâmico e extremamente viciante. Tem romance, ação, aventura e reflexão na medida.

3) OS GAROTOS CORVOS – Maggie Stiefvater

Série amorzinho que mostra a história de Blue, uma menina que vem de uma família de videntes e que possui uma profecia que diz que o primeiro menino que ela beijar irá morrer. Ela irá se encontrar e se relacionar então com uma turminha de meninos, os garotos corvos, que estão atrás de um rei galês que atenderá o pedido de quem o encontrar enterrado em algum lugar nos EUA.  Lembra em muita coisa a história do rei Arthur pra mim, e enfim, eu como eu amo essa temática arthuriana apaixonei na série.

4) MAZE RUNNER – James Dashner

Conseguiu desbancar Jogos Vorazes na minha preferência de distopias YA. Essa história é sensacional, e quando vc lê as prequels acha que a sensação de agonia e curiosidade irão sumir, afinal você já leu a história principal, certo!? Errado! Quando vc termina a última prequel descobre um segredo que vai mudar toda sua perspectiva da história inteira. O primeiro pensamento que vem a cabeça é “vou ter que ler tudo de novo sabendo disso”.

5) AS BRUMAS DE AVALON – Marion Zimmer Bradley

Um história fascinante que todos conhecem, mas que quando contada pela perspectiva das mulheres fica muito mais interessante. Você se pegar torcendo para o que você sabe que vai acontecer não acontecer em vários momentos. Um versão da lenda arthuriana que todo mundo que gosta precisa ler.

A SELEÇÃO – Kiera Cass :  Kiera  construiu um mundo distópico sensacional  para ambientar esse romance entre um real e uma plebéia…e gente, eu juro que achei que não fosse gostar da história quando comecei ler, mas o romance te pega duma maneira que você não consegue largar. É impossível não se apaixonar pelo princípe Maxon.

A MEDIADORA – Meg Cabot :  Se você é adolescente, leia essa série. É uma série muito legal sobre uma menina que vê fantasmas e acaba se envolvendo com um deles. Ela é uma personagem hilária…eu me diverti muito lendo todos os livros, que são curtos e sensacionais.

 

The best book series I’ve read for now, or at least some of them. They are not in order of preference except Harry, who will always be number one in my life.

2) HUNGER GAMES – Suzanne Collins

Suzanne managed to be “anthropophagic”(it’s a term from 1st Brazilian modern literature period) enough to drink at the source of the great dystopias (1984, Brave New World, Farenheit 451 etc) and create something new, dynamic and extremely addictive. It has romance, action, adventure and reflection in the same measure.

3) THE RAVEN BOYS – Maggie Stiefvater

Cute series that shows the story of Blue, a girl who comes from a family of psychics and who has a prophecy that says that the first boy she kisses will die. She will then meet and relate to a gang of boys, the  raven boys, who are after a Welsh king who will grant a wish to the person who finds him buried somewhere in the USA. It reminds me a lot King Arthur in many aspects, and since I  love this Arthurian theme I fell in love with the series.

4) MAZE RUNNER – James Dashner

I managed to unleash Hunger Games in my preference for dystopias YA. This story is sensational, and when you read the prequels you think the feeling of agony and curiosity will fade, after all you’ve read the main story, right !? Wrong! When you finish the last prequel you discover a secret that will change your whole perspective on the whole story. The first thought that comes to mind is “I’ll have to read it all over again knowing that.”

5) THE MISTS OF AVALON – Marion Zimmer Bradley

A fascinating story that everyone knows, but that when is told by the perspective of women becomes much more interesting. You see yourself cheering for certain things that you know will happen but doesn’t want them to happen several times. A version of the Arthurian legend that everyone who likes it needs to read.

EXTRA BONUS:

THE SELECTION – Kiera Cass: Kiera has built a sensational dystopic world to set this romance between a real and a plebeian … and folks, I swear I did not think I would like the story when I started to read, but the novel catches you in a way that you can not stop reading. It is impossible not to fall in love with Maxon the prince.

THE MEDIATOR – Meg Cabot: If you are a teenager, read this series! It’s a really cool series about a girl who sees ghosts and ends up  getting involved with one of them. She’s a hilarious character … I had a lot of fun reading all the books, which are short and sensational.
