A conquista – Elle Kennedy ( The goal)

O livro mais adulto da série eu diria pois tem problemas bem tensos acontecendo. Diferente de O acordo, O erro e O jogo, este livro vai trazer a história do Tucker, que é o carinha mais sério da república. Diferente de Garret, Logan e Dean, Tucker é super caseiro, curte cozinhar, e apesar de jogar no time de hóquei com os amigos, não pretende seguir carreira profissional nem nada. Só joga pela bolsa de estudos. Quando terminar a faculdade, ele quer pegar o dinheiro da herança do pai e montar um negócio próprio, enfim empreender.

Já Sabrina, a mulher que vai virar a cabeça de Tucker do avesso, nós já conhecemos principalmente do 3o livro. Ela odeia Dean pois acha que ele só conseguiu nota em uma matéria que fizeram juntos porque estava dormindo com a monitora (A história não é bem essa como soubemos no 3o livro) enquanto ela sempre teve que dar duro para conseguir qualquer coisa.

Sabrina vem de uma família desestruturada e foi criada pela avó. Ela mora num lugar terrível e sua esperança é conseguir uma bolsa de estudos em Harvard para se formar em direito e então conseguir se mudar para sempre dessa realidade que viveu até então. Para isso ela dá duro nos estudos e tem 3 empregos para juntar o dinheiro necessário para se manter quando for para Harvard.

Tucker e ela se cruzam um dia no bar onde todos os jogadores de hóquei frequentam, e por saber que Dean não curte muito ela acaba mantendo segredo dos meninos da república que eles ficaram. Sabrina sempre fica com atletas, e não quer nada além de sexo com eles. Porém o lance com Tucker será diferente, e além disso algo inesperado que vai mudar a vida e planos de ambos irá acontecer. Teremos um bebê aí sendo gerado por acidente.

Acompanharemos então o que irá acontecer a partir disso. Será que os dois ficarão juntos? Terão o bebê? Mudarão seus planos iniciais?

Pra mim um livro para fechar com chave de ouro. Você termina querendo saber muito mais de cada um dos meninos e seus pares.

O que foi divulgado pela Elle mas ainda sem previsão de lançamento, seria um 5o volume que funcionaria mais como um spin-off dessa série, pois irá contar a história do Fitzy, um dos meninos que vai morar na república quando os 4 originais se formam e dão adeus a faculdade.

Estarei esperando ansiosamente para lê-lo. E com certeza lerei mais coisas da Elle. Essa mulher me proporcionou horas extremamente agradáveis e mal posso esperar para encontrar algo tão bom quanto.

 

 

The most adult book in the series I would say because there are big problems happening. Unlike The Deal,  The Mistake, and The Score, this book will bring the story of Tucker, who is the most serious guy of the hockey boys house. Unlike Garret, Logan and Dean, Tucker is super homey, enjoys cooking, and despite playing on the hockey team with his friends, he doesn’t want to pursue a professional career or anything.  He just plays for the scholarship. When he finishes college, he wants to take the money from his father’s inheritance and start a business of his own.

Now Sabrina, the woman who is going to turn Tucker’s head inside out, we already know mainly from the 3rd book. She hates Dean because she thinks he only passed in a subject  they did together because he was sleeping with the monitor (The story is not quite like that as we got to know in the third book) while she always had to work hard to get anything.

Sabrina comes from a broken family and was raised by her grandmother. She lives in a terrible place and her hope is to get a scholarship at Harvard to graduate in law school, and then being able to move forever from that reality she has lived. Because of that, she always studied really hard, and has 3 jobs to raise the money needed to keep herself when she goes to Harvard.

Tucker and she meet one day at the bar where all the hockey players go, and since Tucker knows Dean does not like her very much, he ends up keeping a secret from the boys of the house they hooked up. Sabrina always goes out with athletes, and she wants nothing more than sex with them. But the case with Tucker will be different, besides something unexpected that will change the life and plans of both will happen. We’ll have a baby being generated by accident.

We will then follow what will happen with them. Will the two be together? Will they have the baby? Will they change their initial plans?

For me a book to close the series with the golden key. You end up wanting to know a lot more about each of the boys and their girls.

What was told by Elle but not yet released, would be a 5th volume that would work more like a spin-off of this series, because it will tell the story of Fitzy, one of the boys who will live in the hockey house when the original 4 graduate and say goodbye to college.

I’ll be waiting anxiously to read it. And I’m sure I’ll read more of Elle’s stuff. This woman has provided me with extremely pleasant hours and I can not wait to find something as good as.
