BedFellows – Lola Leighton (Kendall Ryan)

Um livro que me pegou pela curiosidade que fiquei ao ler a sinopse da história. Não é segredo pra ninguém que eu curto uma boa história de amor, e essa aqui prometia isso só que ao invés de um casal teríamos um trio na história principal.  Ao ler isso fiquei com aquela pulga atrás da orelha pensando se era possível eu ser convencida de que isso era possível. E gente, sim foi possível.

A Kendall, aqui sob o pseudônimo de Lola Leighton, arrasou nessa história diferentona do estilo tradicional das histórias dela.

Will e Sullivan cresceram juntos num orfanato e se tornaram melhores amigos desde esta época. Acostumados a dividir tudo, eles possuem um negócio juntos, compraram e moram em um casa juntos, e ambos querem se casar e formar uma família, só que com a mesma mulher. Isso mesmo, eles querem um relacionamento a três.

Quando Adrienne bate no carro de Sullivan, este vê aí uma oportunidade de se conectar com a mulher que talvez tenha potencial para ser a escolhida dele e de Will.

Os dois convidam Adrienne para conversar após a batida e em pouco tempo acabam propondo que ela saia com Will e com Sullivan para conhecer melhor ambos e ver se ela ficaria a vontade ficando com os dois.

Adrienne acha tudo muito absurdo (como acho que a maioria de nós leitores acharia por motivos de influências da nossa sociedade) mas como se sente atraída por ambos resolve aceitar o convite e começa a conhecer melhor os dois.

E gente, tenho que dizer que a história me cativou. Os personagens são super bem desenvolvidos, a história do relacionamento dos três é muito bem desenvolvida e enfim, você compra total a ideia de que os três tem que ficar juntos. Foi legal ver como Adrienne foi mudando de ideia sabe.

E gente, tenho que confessar que achei as cenas quentes deste livro bem interessantes. Descrições na medida, nada muito cru, cenas super bem descritas, do jeitinho que eu gosto.

Sério, se você tem curiosidade, esse é o livro certo para começar a ler sobre essa temática. Com certeza procurarei mais neste estilo pra comprovar se a Kendall é a melhor ou se este foi apenas uma amostra do que temos de bom por aí.

 

A book that made me curious when I read the synopsis. It’s no secret to anyone that I enjoy a good love story, and this one promised it, except that instead of a couple we would have a trio in the main story.  When I read it , I kept thinking if it was possible for me to be convinced that this was possible. And people, yes it was possible.

Kendall, here under the pseudonym of Lola Leighton, kicked asses in this story which differs from the traditional style of her stories.

Will and Sullivan grew up together in an orphanage and became best friends since this time. Used to sharing everything, they have a business together, bought and live in a house together, and both want to marry and form a family, but they want to do it with the same woman. That’s right, they want a three-way relationship.

When Adrienne crashes into Sullivan’s car, he sees an opportunity to connect with the woman who may have the potential to be his and Will’s choice.

The two invite Adrienne to talk after the crash and in a short time they end up proposing that she went out in a date with Will and then with Sullivan to get to know each other better and see if she would feel comfortable dating them both.

Adrienne thinks everything is very absurd (as I believe most of us readers would think due to society’s influences) but as she is attracted to both, she decides to accept the invitation and gets to know them better.

And folks, I have to say that the story captivated me. The characters are super well developed, the story of the relationship of the three is very well developed and finally, you buy the idea that all three have to stay together. It was nice to see how Adrienne changed her mind.

Also, I have to confess that I thought the hot scenes in this book very interesting. Descriptions in the right measure, nothing very crude, scenes super well described, the way that I like.

Seriously, if you’re curious, this is the right book to start reading about this topic. I’ll definitely look further in this style to see if Kendall is the best or if this was just a sample of what we have good out there.
