HOT & HEAVY- Elle Kennedy #2 Out Of Uniform

Mais três contos da série, e mais alguns SEALs para se apaixonar. Devo dizer que a única coisa que estou lamentando desses primeiros livros da série é que os contos são contos hehehe, porque sério, todos mereciam um stand alone aí.

Já vou dizendo aqui de antemão que meu preferido deste volume foi o Ryan, por motivos de ele é o mais fofo <3

No primeiro conto Heat of the moment, a gente vai acompanhar a história de Jane e Becker.

Becker se mudou faz poucos meses e está de lieutenant dos SEALs que já conhecemos do primeiro livro Hot & Bothered. Ele não interage tanto com eles pois ainda está bem abalado com sua separação recente.

Quando os SEALs resgatam a irmã de Jane numa operação perigosa na Colômbia, ela vai atrás de Becker querendo uma entrevista para a matéria que ela está escrevendo sobre o resgate.

Becker obviamente por ser totalmente reservado não quer colaborar, e Jane se vê presa com ele em um elevador enquanto tenta convencê-lo do contrário. Desesperada pois tem fobia de lugares fechados Jane acaba sendo acudida por Becker, que acaba a beijando pra distraí-la. Daí pra frente meus amigos, deixo por conta da imaginação de vocês – e da leitura do conto hehehe.

Após o episódio, os dois irão descobrir que estão ficando no mesmo hotel e eles acabam fazendo um acordo de se verem durante a semana em que Jane estará lá. Romance à vista, e o desenvolvimento disso vocês veem até o final do conto, que ainda inclui uma paixão platônica de um outro SEAL, o Ryan por Jane.

O segundo conto Heat of night vai trazer exatamente a história desse SEAL mais fofo ever que é o Ryan. Meses após o episódio do primeiro conto ele ainda está amargando seu amor platônico por Jane, e Matt, seu colega de quarto, o aconselha a “procurar consolo” com a vizinha amiga deles.

Ryan aceita a ideia e quando tenta surpreender a amiga vizinha à noite com sua chave reserva dada por ela, ele acaba deitando na cama com Annabelle, a amiga da vizinha que veio passar um tempo no apto dela.

Passado o susto Ryan vai embora e leva sem querer consigo uma lista feita por Annabelle de fantasias sexuais que ela gostaria de realizar agora que está amargando o término com um ex super babaca. Ryan lógico que vai se voluntariar para realizar essas fantasias e após ter notícias de seu ex e ficar bem puta com elas Annabelle vai acabar aceitando.

Pra mim esse foi o melhor conto do livro pois achei que a história teve o tom certo de drama e aventura. Teremos aí uma bela de uma fantasia de Annabelle sendo preenchida com a ajuda de Matt e só falarei isso.

Vou deixar maiores detalhes para vocês descobrirem lendo o conto, pois vocês sabem que o happy ending disso é iminente.

Passados mais alguns meses da conclusão do segundo conto, começamos a história do terceiro conto chamado The Heat is on, sim sim just like the song.

Neste conto Matt irá conhecer Savannah em um assalto ao banco. Após a resolução do episódio, Matt a chama pra sair porém ela o despreza completamente e nega o convite. Matt fica inconformado de ter levado o fora pela primeira vez mas não possui nenhum contato para tentar insistir com Savannah.

Ajudado pelo destino, Matt a encontra novamente quando vai levar Annabelle para conversar com a dona de uma floricultura. Eis que a dona da floricultura é Savannah.

Os dois irão começar a sair juntos porque Savannah resolve dar uma chance a Matt. E conforme dos dois vão se conhecendo Matt encontra uma versão masculina dele próprio em Savannah,

O único problema agora será convencê-la a dar uma chance para o lance dos dois, já que Savannah é total adepta do pegar mas não se apegar. Meu comentário aqui é somente que se alguém pode reverter esse quadro, esse alguém é Matt.

Este último conto para mim foi o mais chato pois eu não curti muito o personagem da Savannah. Mas as cenas hot por exemplo não tem como, a Elle é muito espetacular escrevendo todas.

Recomendo então o segundo volume da série out of Uniform para todos que leram o primeiro e gostaram. Esse é exatamente na mesma pegada, e além disso você consegue saber mais dos personagens dos primeiros contos já que todos fazem parte da mesma divisão e costumam sair juntos.

Three more short stories from the series, plus a few more SEALs to fall in love with. I must say that the only thing I am regretting about these first books in the series is that the stories are short stories hehehe, because seriously, everyone deserved a stand alone to each of them.

I will say here beforehand that my favorite SEAL of this volume was Ryan, since he is the cutest <3

In the first short story Heat of the moment, we will follow the story of Jane and Becker.

Becker moved in a few months ago and is now a member of the SEALs we already know from the first Hot & Bothered book. He does not interact with them as much since he is still very shaken by his recent divorce.

When the SEALs rescue Jane’s sister in a dangerous operation in Colombia, she goes after Becker for an interview for the story she is writing about the rescue.

Becker, obviously because he is totally reserved, does not want to cooperate, and Jane finds herself stuck with him in an elevator while trying to convince him otherwise. Desperate because she has a phobia of closed places Jane ends up being helped by Becker, who ends up kissing her to distract her. From then on my friends, I leave it to your imagination – and to read the story hehehe.

After the episode, the two will discover that they are staying in the same hotel and they end up making a deal to see each other during the week that Jane will be there. Romance in sight, and the development of that you see until the end of the tale, which still includes a platonic passion from another SEAL, Ryan for Jane.

The second story Heat of night will bring exactly the story of this cutest SEAL ever that is Ryan. Months after the episode of the first story he is still bittering his platonic love for Jane, and Matt, his roommate, advises him to “seek some cheering” with their neighbor friend.

Ryan accepts the idea and when he tries to surprise his neighbor friend at night with his spare key given by her, he ends up lying in bed with Annabelle, the neighbor’s friend who came to spend time in her apartment.

After the akward moment of the discovery is over, Ryan leaves and accidentally takes with him a list made by Annabelle of sexual fantasies that she would like to fulfill now that she split up with her ex. Of course Ryan will volunteer to make these fantasies come true and after hearing some stories from his ex and being really pissed at him, Annabelle will end up accepting it.

For me this was the best story in the book because I thought the story had the right tone of drama and adventure. Plus we will have a awesome Annabelle’s fantasy being filled with the help of Matt and I will only say that.

I’ll leave more details for you to find out by reading the story, because you know that the happy ending of this is imminent.

A few more months after the conclusion of the second story, we begin the third story called The Heat is on, yes yes just like the song.

In this story Matt will meet Savannah in a bank robbery. After the episode is resolved, Matt asks her out but she completely despises him and denies the invitation. Matt is unhappy about being dumped for the first time but has no contact to try to insist.

Helped by fate, Matt finds her again when he takes Annabelle to talk to the owner of a flower shop. Behold, the owner of the flower shop is Savannah.

The two will start dating together because Savannah decides to give Matt a chance. And as the two get to know each other Matt finds a male version of himself in Savannah,

The only problem now will be to convince her to give the two of them a chance, since Savannah is totally adept of flings only. My comment here is just that if anyone can reverse this situation, Matt is the one.

This last story for me was the most annoying because I didn’t really like Savannah’s character. But the hot scenes for example were incredible, Elle is very spectacular writing them all.

I then recommend the second volume of the out of Uniform series to everyone who read the first and liked it. This is exactly in the same footprint, and in addition you get to know more about the characters in the first stories since they are all part of the same division and usually go out together.
