Herdeiro Caído – Erin Watt (#4 The Royals)

Eu tava ansiosa para começar a ler o livro que contaria mais sobre Easton Royal, o meu Royal preferido desde o começo da série, porém conhecer a mente desse personagem mais afundo foi algo meio chocante, pois ele tem pensamentos muito mais dark do que ele deixa transparecer.

O livro começa um tempinho depois do final do 3o livro, Reed já foi para a faculdade, e Easton volta pro seu senior year junto com a Ella.

Ele vai conhecer então (após um episódio bem inusitado de vergonha alheia) uma “nova” aluna chamada Hartley. E claro que vendo que Hartley não está nem aí pra ele, Easton vai ter sua atenção capturada por ela e a partir deste momento vai começar a segui-la por toda parte.

Easton vai descobrir que há algo muito errado na vida de Hartley pois aparentemente ela foi banida da família. Mas assim como ele, ela tem um dificuldade enorme de se abrir com alguém sobre suas questões e por muito tempo irá fugir de qualquer envolvimento com Easton.

O livro traz pra gente então esse desenvolvimento da relação dos dois. Easton aceitando que ela talvez só queira uma amizade, e os dois enfm trocando algumas confidências sobre suas vidas e sentimentos.

Esse 4o livro traz também muito mais a participação dos gêmeos Royal, e ao final teremos um cliffhanger monstro para o último livro da série em que Easton, Hartley e um dos gêmeos está envolvido.

Estou aguardando ansiosa o desfecho da série. Este livro com certeza foi melhor que o terceiro e por isso recomendo sim a leitura, ainda mais se você assim como eu tinha simpatizado com o personagem do Easton nos outros livros.

I was eager to start reading the book that would tell more about Easton Royal, my favorite Royal since the beginning of the series, but getting to know deeper this character’s mind was somewhat shocking, as he has thoughts much darker than he shows to everyone.

The book begins a little while after the end of the 3rd book, Reed has already gone to college, and Easton goes back to his senior year together with Ella.

He will then meet (after a very unusual shameful episode) a “new” student named Hartley. Of course, seeing that Hartley doesn’t care about him, Easton will have his attention captured by her and from this moment on he will start to follow her everywhere.

Easton will discover that there is something very wrong in Hartley’s life as she was apparently banned from her family. But like him, she has a huge difficulty opening up to someone about her issues and will for a long time escape any involvement with Easton.

The book brings us this development of their relationship. Easton accepting that she may just want a friendship, and the two finally exchange some confidences about their lives and feelings.

This 4th book also brings much more participation by the Royal twins, and at the end we will have a monster cliffhanger for the last book in the series in which Easton, Hartley and one of the twins are involved.

I’m looking forward to the end of the series. This book was certainly better than the third one and that is why I recommend reading it, especially if you, like me, had sympathized with Easton’s character in the other books.
