The Stud Next Door – Kendall Ryan #3 Frisky Business

Terceiro livro da série Frisky Business  (os primeiros foram The boyfriend Effect e My Brother’s Roommate) e para mim cumpre com o papel de entreter sem grandes dramas.

Nós tivemos um gostinho do que seria o início deste livro já no segundo pois enquanto a história de Wolfie e Penélope(irmã de Connor) está rolando a gente acompanha o comportamente de Connor mudando. Ele era totalmente livre e vivia pra cima e pra baixo com sua motocicleta. Então de repente ele a vende e diz que vai comprar uma carro e se mudar para uma casa.

Ao final descobrimos que toda essa mudança deve-se ao fato de Connor ter descoberto que será pai, porém como a moça que engravidou dele já está até com outro namorado eles irão dividir a custódia amigavelmente.

O terceiro livro começa com um Connor já pai a alguns meses e morando sozinho com a filha. E em um dia que os meninos (Wolfie, Hayes e Caleb) estão em sua casa acabam ajudando uma moça com sua mudança para um quarto que ela alugou num dos vizinhos de Connor.

Conversa vai conversa vem eles acabam arrumando a chance dela ficar de babá da filha de Connor, Marley, enquanto não vai embora para um viagem em que irá ajudar refugiados em outro país.

Jessa, a moça que não sai da cabeça de Connor, e que agora é sua nova babá, começará a trabalhar e com isso conviver mais com Connor, e os dois descobrirão que tem uma química incrível rolando ali. Sem contar o fato de que todos os seus amigos, e amigas curtem ela logo de cara.

Connor vai acabar chamando ela para sair e os dois se envolvendo. Não daria pra evitar, acreditem, o lance era forte. E então eles antes dos pombinhos terem seu final feliz merecido eles terão que lidar com a questão da viagem de Jessa. O que será que vai acontecer?

Meu preferido segue sendo o segundo livro (Wolfie, the best!), mas com certeza este também vale a pena ser lido, ainda mais se você assim como eu está acompanhando a série toda. Agora é esperar pelo livro do Caleb!

 

 

Third book in the Frisky Business series (the first ones were The Boyfriend Effect and My Brother’s Roommate) and for me it fulfills the role of entertaining without major dramas.

We had a taste of what would be the beginning of this book in the second because while the story of Wolfie and Penélope (Connor’s sister) is going on we know Connor’s behavior is changing. He was totally free and was always hanging around with his motorcycle. Then suddenly he sells it and says he is going to buy a car and move into a house.

In the end we found out that all this change is due to the fact that Connor has discovered he will be a father, but since the girl who became pregnant is already with another boyfriend they will share custody amicably.

The third book begins with a Connor who has been a father for a few months living alone with his daughter. And on a day when the boys (Wolfie, Hayes and Caleb) are at his house, they end up helping a girl with her moving packs to a room she rented in one of Connor’s neighbors.

A little talk later the boys end up suggesting Jessa to babysit Connor’s daughter, Marley, while she doesn’t leave for a trip where she will help refugees in another country.

Jessa, the girl who never leaves Connor’s head, and who is now his new nanny, will start to work and spend more time with Connor, and the two will discover that they have an incredible chemistry going on there. Not to mention the fact that all his friends, and girl friends, like her right away.

Connor will end up asking her out and the two of them getting involved. They couldn’t help it, believe me, the thing was strong. And then before the lovebirds have their happy ending they will have to deal with the distance issue of Jessa’s trip. What will happen?

The second book is still my favorite (Wolfie, the best!), but this one is certainly worth reading, especially if you like me is following the whole series. Now it’s time to wait for Caleb’s book!
