Trying to Score – Kendall Ryan (Hot Jocks #3)

Eu juro que achei que esse terceiro livro não iria superar o All the Way, mas gente, olha que quase hein. Eu diria que eles ficaram empatados, pois eu realmente adorei a história deste.

A Kendall está se superando a cada livro. A expectativa agora para o 4o volume tá grande, mas vou tentar mantê-la sob controle.

Falando da história, nesse 3o livro a gente já conhece basicamente a turma toda que anda ali com os meninos do time de Seattle.

Mass nesse teremos o foco em Teddy e Sara. Teddy tá naquela fase indefinida de já peguei todo mundo, já namorei sério e não deu certo, não sei mais o que quero, e Sara está na fase sem namorado sério faz tempo e casada com o trabalho, já que está bem próxima de uma promoção no escritório de advocacia onde trabalha depois de 7 longos anos dando seu sangue. Lembrando que nos livros o povo já tá ali chegando perto dos 30, então as histórias são mais adultas, pois a realidade deles é essa.

Sara é da mesma turma e amiga de Justin, Owen e Teddy pois estudou com eles na mesma faculdade, mais tarde ficando amiga de Elise, Becca e cia. Mas o que todos eles não sabem e estão bem perto de descobrir é que Sara e Teddy nem sempre foram apenas amigos.

Durante um dos anos de faculdade eles foram amigos coloridos e o romance só não foi relevado para a turma e levado mais a sério pois nas férias do mesmo ano Sara começou a namorar outro cara, e Teddy acabou desencanando de qualquer investida mais séria. Depois foi Sara que largou o namorado mas Teddy estava com namorada séria, e enfim, quando ele também terminou Sara já estava casada com o trabalho e o timing entre os dois nunca aconteceu.

Pois bem, Teddy vai começar a ser ameaçado por um hacker que roubou um vídeo de sua conta pessoal da nuvem, e então ele terá que conversar com Sara na marra, pois o vídeo roubado é nada mais nada menos do que uma sex tape que os dois fizeram nessa época da faculdade de amizade colorida.

A princípio Sara vai ficar putaça pois ela achava que Teddy tinha deletado esse vídeo no ano que eles o gravaram. Mas depois desesperada para achar uma solução para conter o escândalo que esse vídeo pode fazer (inclusive miando sua promoção tão sonhada) ela acaba embarcando na sugestão da relações públicas do time e vai começar a fingir um namoro com Teddy para que caso o vídeo seja exposto ele não seja nada além de um vídeo de duas pessoas que namoram.

O que Sara não sabe é que Teddy não deletou esse vídeo porque ele sempre viu o vídeo para lembrar dos dois. O que Teddy não sabe é que Sara sempre se arrependeu de não ter dado uma chance para os dois lá na época da faculdade.

Preciso falar mais alguma coisa!?

A história é a coisa mais fofa ever de se ler porque esses dois são total meant to be. Eles combinam num tanto que quando sacam isso é tão delicioso. Gente, se vocês querem história pra aquecer o coração nível hard, essa aqui é PERFEITA.

Não vou ficar dando muitos detalhes do desenrolar porque senão perde a graça. Então, leiam!

I swear I thought this third book wouldn’t beat All the Way, but guys, it almost did. I would say they were tied, because I really loved the story of this one.

Kendall is excelling  in her writing in each book. The expectation now for the 4th volume is high, but I will try to keep it under control.

Speaking of the story, in this 3rd book we already know basically the whole group that hangs out with the Seattle team boys.

But in this we will focus on Teddy and Sara. Teddy is in that indefinite phase of I already got laid with every women possible, I dated seriously and it didn’t work out, and I don’t know what I want anymore, and Sara is in the phase without serious boyfriend for a long time and married with work, since she is very close to a promotion at the law office where she works after 7 long years giving her blood. Remembering that in these books people are already approaching the 30s, so the stories are more adult, because their reality is more adult at this point.

Sara is friends with Justin, Owen and Teddy because she studied with them in the same college, later becoming friends with Elise, Becca and cia. But what they all don’t know and are pretty close to finding out is that Sara and Teddy weren’t always just friends.

During one of their college years they became friends with benefits and the romance just wasn’t revealed to the group and taken more seriously because on the same year’s summer break Sara started dating another guy, what ended up discouraging Teddy. Then it was Sara who left her boyfriend but Teddy was with a serious girlfriend, and finally, when he also broke up Sara was already married with the work and the timing between the two never happened.

Then Teddy will start to be threatened by a hacker who stole a video from his personal cloud account, and then he’ll have to talk to Sara who is in the video too, because the stolen video is nothing less than a sex tape that the two did at this time of their friends with benefits period at college.

At first Sara is going to be super mad because she thought Teddy had deleted this video the year they shot it. But then desperate to find a solution to contain the scandal that this video can make (including spoiling her long-awaited promotion) she ends up embarking on the team’s public relations suggestion and will start faking a relationship with Teddy so that if the video gets exposed it becomes nothing but a video of two people who date each other.

What Sara doesn’t know is that Teddy didn’t delete this video because he always use to see the video to remember them both. What Teddy doesn’t know is that Sara always regretted not giving them a chance back at their college time.

The story is the cutest thing ever to read because these two are a total meant to be. They combine so much that when they get it, it’s so delicious to see. Guys, if you want a story to warm your heart hard level, this one is PERFECT!
