Príncipe Partido – Erin Watt (Broken Prince)

O segundo livro começa com a narração de Reed, e teremos essa alternância de narrativa agora entre ele e Ella até o final da história.

Lembram que eu falei que não conseguia imaginar como as autoras iriam consertar a merda que Reed fez  e que fez Ella fugir da casa dos Royal no final do Princesa de Papel? Pois bem, elas conseguiram.

Reed explica que tudo não passou de um mau entendido, e apesar dele ter sim dormindo com Brooke tentando se vingar do pai, isso foi bem antes de Ella chegar na casa dos Royal e mudar completamente a vida de todos.

A gente acaba entendendo os motivos dele (e notem que digo entender, mas não aceitar) e então o livro vai girar em torno de Reed tentando conseguir o perdão de Ella.

Ella acaba voltando para a casa dos Royal por pressão de Callum e Reed vai passar um bom tempo do livro tentando se desculpar não só com ela mas também com toda a família, já que os irmãos todos ficam contra ele.

E quando todos já estão de bem, teremos Daniel Delacorte  aprontando algo bem grave para Reed.

O livro vai terminar em outro cliffhanger  bem sinistro com uma morte e o aparecimento de uma pessoa inesperada na história. Contarei mais a respeito assim que postar sobre o 3o livro Palácio de Mentiras.

De maneira geral adorei o livro tanto quando adorei o primeiro e não fosse o acontecimento infeliz do final a história poderia ter terminado aqui mesmo. A escrita de Elle junto com Jen é muito afiada e por enquanto me prendeu do início ao fim. Espero que continue assim.

The second book begins with Reed’s narration, and we will have this narrative being alternated between him and Ella until the end of the story.

Remember when I said I couldn’t imagine how the authors were going to fix the shit that Reed did and that made Ella run away from the Royals’ house at the end of the Paper Princess? Well, they got it.

Reed explains that it was all a misunderstanding, and although he did sleep with Brooke seeking revenge against his dad, it all happened before Ella arrived at the Royals’ house and completely changed everyone’s life.

We end up understanding his reasons (and notice that I mean to understand, but not accept) and then the book will revolve around Reed trying to get Ella’s forgiveness.

Ella ends up going back to the Royals’ house because of Callum and Reed will spend a huge time in the book trying to apologize not only to her but also to the whole family, since his brothers are all against him.

And when everyone is OK with each other, we will have Daniel Delacortepreparing something really dangerous against Reed.

The book will end in another very sinister cliffhanger with someone’s death, and an unexpected person’s appearence. I will tell you more about it as soon as I post about the 3rd book Twisted Palace.

In general, I really enjoyed it as I did with the first and if it weren’t for the unfortunate event at the end, the story could have ended right here. Elle and Jen’s writting is very sharp and for the time being it has stuck me from beginning to end. I hope it stays that way.
