Sempre Teremos o Verão – Jenny Han (We’ll Always Have Summer)

OBS: Este livro é a sequência de O Verão Que Mudou Minha Vida e Sem Você Não É Verão e portanto os comentários abaixo podem conter spoiler caso você não tenha lido o primeiro e o segundo volume.

Num saldo geral uma trilogia imensamente gostosa de ser lida sem compromisso, pra relaxar. Achei bem legal, mas ainda prefiro o Para Todos Os Garotos Que Já Amei.
Juro, analisando apenas pela capa, antes de abrir o livro para começar a ler, pensei que Belly ficasse sozinha no final da história. Honestamente, não seria um final ruim na minha opinião. Devo dizer aqui que não gostei nem desgostei do final real, mas na minha cabeça ela ficar sozinha faria muito sentido.
A grande parte ruim de eu precisar falar primeiramente sem spoilers sobre esse último livro é que eu quero morrer com o que acontece no começo dele. Eu acho que depois de tudo descrito no 1o e no 2o, o que acontece no 3o não aconteceria, mas entendo porque a Jenny fez o que fez.
Enfim, neste livro Belly e Jere estão namorando a quase 2 anos e super firmes, Conrad foi estudar na Califórnia pra ficar bem longe deles, e os adultos seguiram tocando suas vidas. Mas, um acontecimento irá reunir esse triâgulo amoroso em Cousins Beach no verão novamente, Jere e Belly decidem se casar mesmo indo contra a vontade de todos. Agora, Conrad terá que lidar com o fato de que amando ou não Belly, se ele continuar se omitindo a perderá para sempre. E aí? Será que agora vai? Quem Belly irá escolher?

Como disse aí em cima, eu não concordo com o que acontece no começo da história. Duvido que Jere trairia a Belly, mesmo eles estando num “tempo”. O jeito como ele é descrito no 1o e 2o livros me impede de achar isso verossível. Se fosse Conrad eu acreditaria no mesmo minuto, mas Jere, não dá sabe.
Obviamente a Jenny fez isso pra no final Conrad ter mais um motivo pra tentar reconquistar Belly, mas enfim, eu não achei justo com o personagem do Jere.
Gostei da história toda, mas achei MTO viagem/ cheio de mexicanisses eles quererem se casar, apenas porque acho que casar com 19 anos é tão coisa do tempo da minha mãe sabe. Hoje em dia as pessoas com 19 anos são tão imaturas. Mas assim, fez sentido na história, só digo que isso a fez ficar com um nível de identificação menor com a realidade.
E outra, não superarei o fato de que no final Conrad fica “bonzinho”. Uma ova! Meninos não mudam assim por causa da gente! Isso é ilusão! E outra, ele podia cuspir ouro na frente da Belly que eu ainda continuaria achando ele um canalha.

On a general balance an immensely good trilogy to be read without compromise, to relax. I thought it really cool, but I still prefer To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
I swear, by analyzing the book only by its cover before to start reading, I thought Belly would be alone at the end of the story. Honestly, it would not be a bad end in my opinion. I must say here that I did not like or dislike the real end but in my head she being alone would make much sense.
The big bad part is that I need to speak first without spoilers about this last book, and I want to die with what happens in the beginning of it. I think after all described in first and second, what happens in the 3rd would never happen, but I understand why Jenny did what she did.
Anyway, in this book Belly and Jere have been dating for almost two years and are super solid, Conrad was studying in California to stay away from them, and the adults followed with their lives. But an event will reunite this love triangle in Cousins ​​Beach in the summer again, Jere and Belly decide to get married even going against the will of all. Now, Conrad will have to deal with the fact that loving or not Belly, if he continues to omit his feelings he will lose her forever. What about it? Is he going to do something? Who will Belly choose?

As I said up up there, I do not agree with what happens at the beginning of the story. I doubt Jere would betray Belly, even they being on a “break”. The way he is described in books 1 and 2 prevents me to believe this true. Conrad, I would believe in the same minute, but Jere, I can’t,you know.
Obviously Jenny did it to Conrad have another reason in the end to try to regain Belly, but anyway, I didn’t think this was fair with the character of Jere.
I liked the whole story, but I thought it really untrue-full/full of “mexicanisses” they wanting to get married, just because I think to get married with 19 years is so the time of my mother you know. Today, people of age 19 are so immature. But let’s say it made sense in the story, it just made our identification with it a lower level with the reality.
And please, I could not stand the fact that at the end of the story Conrad became “nice”. Humph! Boys do not change just because of us! That is illusion! And Jesus, he could spit gold in front of Belly I would keep thinking he’s a jerk.
