Amor sob encomenda – Carina Rissi

Amor sob encomenda - Carina Rissi

amor sob encomenda

amor sob encomenda serie

That my club and I like Carina is no secret to anyone, right ?! So of course we would read Amor sob encomenda as soon as it was released.

I could not stand to wait for a little more of the Cassini brothers, but to my surprise we had more characters from Carina’s world participating in this story. You can expect Luna and Dante appearances, and a very important mention of Luna’s grandmother too, and of course  Cassini’s brothers Max and Marcus with their respective girls. Enjoy! Because I enjoyed it.

In this story we will get to know Mel, who is ceremonialist and is organizing Max and Alicia’s wedding, who had to be postponed because of everything that happened after Marcus’s kidnapping in Mentira Perfeita.

It was because of the wedding that Mel met Nicholas, Max and Marcus’s cousin, and the dislike, or fatal attraction, was instantaneous.

At the beginning of this book she begins to meet him in several places – and you will understand the motives of the meetings when you see a tip that Luna’s grandmother gave and that Mel’s friend made her do it, and in one of the meetings, because of a traumatic breakup with her ex-boyfriend, she opens up about it with Nicholas.

Events, which I will not mention here to raise your curiosity, will lead them both to share the apartment that was formerly from Luna and Dante before, and this relationship between them will increase exponentially, making them increasingly intimate.

Nicholas will help Mel in a very boring situation that she gets into having to plan her ex’s wedding, and of course in the midst of all this involvement their love will happen guys, the cupid will shoot an arrow, and it’s cute to see how the two will understand what is happening between them gradually.

I think the only criticism I have about the book is the same one I have with all of Carina’s book, which is that it could have less pages. When we get there from the middle to the end you have that super feeling things will be solved and the sotry will end, but the girl takes to much time to understand what she in fact already understood, or something always happens out of the bloom that prevents everything from being resolved anytime soon. And that’s why I always think that the book might have had 150, 200 pages less. But, nothing that compromises the wonderful story that Carina creates. Her narrative is so good that you have no choice but to continue reading until all is resolved and the end comes.

That said, I can say that Amor sob encomenda has surprised me greatly, and I would say that from the 3 books in this universem this one became the 2nd in my preference. It didn’t surpass Mentira Perfeita, the best for me, but it was better than Procura-se um marido.

For those who never read anything about Carina I recommend these three and also No mundo da Luna, which is sensational too.
