Crossing The Line – Kendall Ryan (Hot Jocks #4)

Eu tardo mas não falho. Postei o vídeo bem antes mas não consegui postar o texto tão rápido.

Eu achava honestamente que depois do feito do terceiro livro, o quarto livro não superaria Playing for keeps, All the Way nem Trying to Score, porém gente, a Kendall me surpreendeu novamente e arrasou. Esse livro ficou muito bom e coloco ali na minha classificação de queridinho junto com All the Way e Trying to Score.

Reparem que a pessoa aqui não consegue eleger um único preferido, porque sim todos estão demais.

Nesse aqui a gente vai acompanhar a história de Asher e Bailey. Nós já os conhecemos dos outros livros. Os dois fazem parte da mesma turminha que sai junto, amigos de faculdade e agregados, e Bailey e Asher são os que se conhecem menos eu diria, pois não estudaram juntos e se conheceram depois através dos outros amigos em comum.

Bailey acabou de terminar a faculdade de medicina e vai começar sua residência após as férias de verão. Asher acabou de se machucar e precisa ficar de molho para conseguir se recuperar logo e voltar para os jogos.

Em uma conversa com a turma Asher comenta que queria ir passar uma semana com a família mas o time quer que ele leve um enfermeiro junto para caso precise de alguma coisa e também para ficar de olho nele, mas ele não quer levar um desconhecido para ficar na casa da família por uma semana inteira. É aí que Bailey sugere que caso Asher queira ela pode ir como enfermeira com ele já que está sem fazer nada até a residência dela começar.

E é claro que Asher vai topar né.

E lá vamos nós para a viagem como os dois tendo a oportunidade de se conhecerem mais. Bailey sempre achou Asher realmente muito gato, mas nunca pensou em avançar o sinal por motivos de somos da mesma turma e ficaria estranho. Asher por sua vez também sempre achou Bailey maravilhosa, mas também nunca avançou o sinal pelos mesmo motivos.

Essa pequena atração entre os dois vai ser notada pela avó de Asher que após embebedar Bailey um dia na esperança de que alguma coisa role entre os dois, acaba tendo seus desejos atendidos, e  Asher e Bailey vão começar a descobrir que o que há entre eles pode ser muito mais do que uma simples amizade.

E aí meus amigos é ler, ler e ler porque a história desse casal foi deliciosa, só isso que posso dizer. Não achei que rolou drama demais, nem nada muito inverossímil, apenas uma relação pra lá de normal sendo desenvolvida enquanto a gente aproveita de camarote as cenas perfeitas criadas pela Kendall.

Onde tiver nota 10 pra ser aplicada nesse livro é essa a nota que darei  😉

Sometimes I take a while to post but I don’t fail, that’s a fact. I posted the video well before on the release date but I couldn’t post the text so fast. Anyway, here it is.

I honestly thought that after the achievement of the third book, the fourth book would not surpass Playing for keeps, All the Way, or Trying to Score, but folks, Kendall surprised me again and nailed it. This book was very good and I put it on my classification as so good as All the Way and Trying to Score.

Note that the person here (aka me) is unable to choose a single favorite, because yes, they are all to good.

In this one we will follow the story of Asher and Bailey. We already know them from the other books. The two are part of the same group that goes out together, friends from college and friends from friends, and Bailey and Asher are the ones who know each other the least I would say, because they did not study together and met afterwards through the other mutual friends.

Bailey has just finished medical school and will start her residency after the summer holidays. Asher has just been hurt and needs to rest in order to recover soon and get back to the games.

In a conversation with the gang Asher comments that he wants to go spend a week with the family but the team wants him to take a nurse along in case he needs something and also to keep an eye on him, but he doesn’t want to take a stranger to stay at his family home for an entire week. That’s where Bailey suggests that if Asher wants to, she can go as a nurse with him since she’s doing nothing until her residency begins.

And of course Asher is going to agree with it.

And it’s on this trip that the two of them will have the opportunity to get to know each other better. Bailey always thought Asher was really hot, but she never thought to take a step forward because they hang out with the same gang and it would look weird. Asher, on the other hand, always thought Bailey was wonderful and really pretty, but he also never advanced any signal for the same reasons.

This little attraction between the two will be noticed by Asher’s grandmother who after make Bailey drunk one day in the hope that something will happen between the two, ends up having her wishes fulfilled, since Asher and Bailey will start to discover that what is going on between them can be much more than just a friendship.

And then my friends read, read, and read because the story of this couple was delicious, that’s all I can say. I didn’t think there was too much drama, or anything very unlikely, just a normal relationship being developed while we enjoy the perfect scenes created by Kendall.

Where there is a grade of 10 to be applied in this book, this is the grade I will give 😉
