Reino em Pedaços – Erin Watt #5 The Royals

Fechando a história de Easton e Hartley este livro (por enquanto) é o último da série The Royals. Fica aí a esperança que Elle e Jen escrevam mais um livro ou novella sobre os gêmeos Royal. Eles curtem um threesome e eu fiquei deveras interessada em ler os motivos e toda farra.

Agora falando desta história o livro começa logo após os acontecimentos do final de Herdeiro Caído, onde Hartley e gêmeos sofrem um acidente de carro. Sebastian, um dos gêmeos fica em coma por um bom tempo e todo mundo com o coração apertado sem saber como será a vida quando ele acordar.

E no meio disso no hospital, Hartley bate a cabeça e esquece tudo que aconteceu nos últimos 3 anos. Ou seja, ela não lembra nada do que rolou com o pai, as falcatruas que descobriu, nem de ter ido embora para um colégio interno e depois voltado, e nem de Easton.

A princípio a família vai tentar enganá-la deixando-a sem comunicação com Easton, mas a medida em que pequenas coisas voltam ela acaba conversando mais com ele pois sente que há algo errado com a família.

Mas nesse meio tempo vai ter a Felicity inventando um monte de história pra Hartley sobre a vida dela, sobre Easton, e dificultando mais a situação.

Achei o livro bem enrolado assim como o terceiro da história da Ella e do Reed, poderia ter sido bemmm menor, mas tem seu grandes pontos positivos.

E aqui avisando que vou dar uns spoilers: (tirando toda a palhaçada do Steve – o maior mala do universo – ser o verdadeiro pai do Easton) tivemos um começo de redenção dele Easton tentando buscar ajuda pro problema de alcolismo  e a melhora de Hartley, porém ela nunca mais recupera a memória por completo. No fim ela ter esquecido Easton ajudou os dois a se aproximarem mais pois Hartley, que antes era totalmente reticente, acabou abrindo mais o coração do que abriria se lembrasse de muitas coisas de sua vida, mesmo Easton tendo contado tudo que rolou entre eles para ela o impacto foi bem menor e ela acabou confiando ainda mais nele daquele momento para frente.

Achei legal pois geralmente quando um do casal perde a memória isso acaba fazendo eles se distanciarem e aqui temos exatamente o contrário. Enfim, um livro que vale a pena sim, principalmente se você já leu a série toda né!?

Closing the story of Easton and Hartley this book (for now) is the last in The Royals series. There remains the hope that Elle and Jen will write another book or novella about the Royal twins. They enjoy a threesome and I was really interested in reading the reasons and all the fun.

Now speaking about this story the book begins right after the events of the late Fallen Heir, where Hartley and the twins are in a car accident. Sebastian, one of the twins has been in a coma for a long time and everyone with a tight heart does not know what life will be like when he wakes up.

And in the middle of it at the hospital, Hartley bangs her head and forgets everything that has happened in the past 3 years. In other words, she does not remember anything about what happened to her father, neither the bribe she discovered, nor about leaving for boarding school and then returning, or about Easton.
At first the family will try to deceive her by leaving her without communication with Easton, but as little things comes back she ends up talking to him more because she feels there is something wrong with her family.

In the meantime there will be Felicity making up a lot of stories for Hartley about her life, about Easton, and making it more difficult.

I thought this book way too long as well as the third from Ella and Reed’s story, it could have been much smaller, but it has its great positive points.

And here letting you know that I’m going to give you some spoilers: (apart from all the idiotic Steve – the biggest douchebag in the universe – being Easton’s real father) we had a beginning of redemption from Easton trying to seek help for the problem of alcoholism and Hartley’s improvement, but she never regains her memory completely. In the end, the fact that she forgot Easton helped them to get closer because Hartley, who was previously totally reticent, ended up opening her heart more than she would open if she remembered many things in her life, even though Easton told her everything that happened between them. The impact was much less and she ended up trusting him even more from that moment on.

I thought it  pretty cool because usually when one of the couple loses their memory it ends up making them distance themselves and here we have the exact opposite. Anyway, a book that is worth it, especially if you have read the whole series, right !?
