Eu sempre fui muito fã de Meg Cabot, e quando soube que ela lançaria uma continuação da série da Mediadora em 2016, 15 anos após ter lançado o 6o volume da série, eu logo corri ler a novela que ela disponibilizou de graça para e-book e depois comprei o livro Lembrança. Porém demorei um certo tempo aí, como vocês podem ver, para lê-lo, e o motivo principal disso era que eu meio que tava economizando o livro pois sabia que seria aquela leitura gostosinha de tudo e que eu teria aquele gostinho de bis dos 6 primeiros livros tão legais.

Inspirada por minha amiga Ari (Thanks Ari!) que estava finalmente lendo a série toda, resolvi ler ao mesmo tempo que ela o livro 7, e gente, sério, eu só posso dizer uma coisa “Por favor, por mais livros de Suze Simon adulta!” Que mulher sabe, ela é a personagem feminina que precisamos brilhando hoje em dia.

O livro é pra mim o melhor dos 7, pois tanto o caso fantasmagórico apresentado como a trama principal envolvendo a vida de Suze foram muito interessantes.

Pudemos descobrir o que aconteceu com todos os irmãos postiços da Suze, com Jesse, com as amigas dela do colégio, até o padre Dominic dá o ar da graça, mas a cereja desse bolo é a Suze com certeza. Ela está adulta, confiante, independente, dona de si totalll, gente sério, como falei, precisamos de mais Suzes Simon por aí pra nos inspirar.

A história fantasmagórica do livro vai girar em torno de uma fantasma criança que não sai do lado de uma aluna da escola onde Suze estudava e que agora está fazendo um estágio. Suze vai tentar ajudá-la mas terá um certo trabalho já que a fantasminha que matar qualquer pessoa que chega perto da amiga que ela está “protegendo”.

Ao mesmo tempo temos a trama relacionada a vida de Suze, com a volta de Paul Slater. Ele tentará chantageá-la com um segredo que envolve Jesse.

I was always a big fan of Meg Cabot, and when I knew that she would be launching a sequel to the 2016 series, 15 years after launching the 6th volume, I soon ran to read the free novel she made available for ebook and then I bought the book Remembrance. But it took me a while, as you can see, to read it, and the main reason for that was that I was kind of saving the book because I knew it would be that kind of nice reading and that I would love it for sureas I did with the first 6 books.

Inspired by my friend Ari (Thanks Ari!) Who was finally reading the whole series, I decided to read book 7 at the same time with her, and guys, seriously, I can only say one thing “Please, for more books of adult Suze Simon! ” What a woman, she’s definitely the female character we need shining today.

The book is for me the best of the seven, as both the ghostly case presented and the main plot involving Suze’s life were very interesting.

We could find out what happened to all of Suze’s step brothers, Jesse, her high school friends, even Father Dominic appears as funny as always, but the icing on that cake is Suze for sure. She’s grown-up, confident, independent, serious people, as I said, we need more Suzes Simon out there to inspire us.

The ghostly story of the book will tells us about a child ghost who does not leave the side of a student at the school where Suze studied and is now doing an internship. Suze will try to help her but will have some work as the little ghost tries to kill anyone who comes close to the friend she is “protecting”.

At the same time we have Suze’s life-related plot with Paul Slater’s return. He will try to blackmail her with a secret that involves Jesse.
